Interesting that Bitcoinorama was last active in forum this afternoon but did not post.
Nothing to do with him. He did some DD and some would say went out of his way to do so, and came here to tell us his observations. Are we so stupid that we don't appreciate that? The guy spent a lot more than a day and a fair chunk of cash going to investigate the goings on over there, and has nothing to do with their plans or production yet he got nailed to a cross for it. I'd revel in letting us all stew if I was him. |

Maybe he sits in a stockholm bar and gets drunk.  And hopefully he gets drunk cause the news he learned today and isnt allowed to share was a good one and not a bad one and he is boozing himself cause he had so many jupiter-preorders. |

I dont mind any minor delays of a few days. Thats not the problem. I dont like the non-existent communication-policy.
We had a on-off communication the last months. Sometimes very detailed then again absent for several weeks. And now its just non-existent again.
Either dont communicate details at all and stay silent or communicate and tell your customers whats going on.
But this inbetween of broken promises (Video, China-Show etc) and silence is just not good imo.

We would like to inform you that we have decided to remove the USB connector on the boards due to a safety concern with the power supplied via some USB devices. There was a potential for the boards to get damaged if a USB device with power was connected.

Ok, with this whole ordeal I lost 4k, thank god for not upgrading to Jupiter. While still a lot, I feel so sorry for you guys who lost more. I picture you with sad faces, sitting next to just purchased power supplies.  |

PS, no arguments from me on either bet deals, to me the bet is already lost...
if they plan on actually DELIVERING to a few folks within the next 12 hours , they will be breaking their "Sacred" Pay-date-delivery oath by supplying a few Stockholm folks first...
if they go to UPS, even next day is late for us september folks, so again, no arguments from me
im supposed to be on a plane in like 36 hours, and waiting to see if I need to postpone the flight yet again, so I'm taking my laptop with on a long drive to the peak of Mauna Loa, setting up my wifi, and smoking a fattie to appease the ASIC gods, and I'll check again online when I'm there, and able to go bezerk where nobody can hear, lol. see ya in a couple hours....

Didn't you say your order was not a Day 1 or Day 2 order? - Sadly, It is possible this is why they are saying 2 weeks for you. Alas, this is just speculation as is everything else posted on this forum within the past 2 weeks.... |

How many people placed their bids SOLELY on bitcoinoramas 'musings' & 'opinions' ?
He made more of an effort to promote KnC than Knc themselves.
Just because towards the end of the expected delivery time he started to chill out does not immunize him from his role in the entire debacle.
He KNEW what he was doing, and he KNEW he would be rewarded for it. regardless if the rest of us end up shafted.
He had better post his holiday pics for us today and explain himself really well or else.....

This reminds me of when Avalon was supposed to deliver, then didn't for two more months. I have 3 devices on pre-order so I'm just as anxious as the rest of you, but I don't think a single ASIC company has delivered when they said they would, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
(They better not take too long or I won't make any money. if they delay they better start shipping more horse power to make up for it)
