They are obviously having a problem with the chips. A couple of people are trying to get them working, the rest are walking standing around looking anxious. Everyone is waiting, including us.
Man, I'm psychic!

How long takes to produce one board?
Judging by the video, one PCB takes almost 4 minutes from start to finish, but it passes through several pick and place machines that operate in parallel on a conveyer. Hard to say, but Id guess they could do at least one per minute.

So, is it still possible to win the bitbet? Would 5 units delivered for hosting at the KNC datacenter count?

I visited their new office (not the factory!! where Orama is) and was told that the chips are hashing and that the Jupiter should be above the specs of 400 GH/s.
There were a couple more tidbits of info that I guess may not be official or set in stone so for what it's worth it I will just say that I got a lot more relaxed after talking with them in person and getting that info (mail communication was not working).

Maybe you can try to talk to them. I am available in Stockholm for a pickup, and so is Orama, maybe Anduck. Maybe 2 other hidden swedes. But I feel they would have to squeeze those boxes it at the last second and maybe people contacted at the last second by KNC...

I see guys in lab coats anxiously awaiting results - not ramp ups of people building devices...earlier comment was right this is not looking too automated at this point lol. Lol; http://youtu.be/ittJ5PQe6IU This is pure machine porn! Thanks for all the updates updates Bitcoinorama!!

Nah, thats just the PCB, and I think it was the backplane, not the "main board" with the actual hashing chip. Not that those would take much longer, its clear that automated production lines arent going to be the bottleneck, but I assume (manual) assembly of the unit, testing, packaging etc wont go anywhere near that fast.

No worries, just hang back on throwing accusations and threats towards me in future. I've never lied to anyone here, but I did say it would be tight, just never thought it would be this tight. I would like to see Stockholm tonight as well. My clothes are there!!!

Well, I've got a hosted Day 1 unit that I'd happily screenshot hashing if they get it up!

This unit doesn't look to complicated. Propably one expierenced person will assemble this in less than half an hour. 10 people should assemble at least 20 in 1 hour with 4 boards, so almost whole boards can be used up.

No, 5 reputable users. I guess they missed bitbet by few days. Today is still September - there aren't 5 'reputable' users with hosted units?
