use p2pool - forget about pool ddos
Can you explain why this is different to a pool like btcguild in terms of ddos? distributed. decentralized. no single point of failure. see: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2PoolHow come it's got even less miners using it than Slush's pool if it's so good? http://blockchain.info/pools

man I hope they get up to speed and ship stuff faster then that guy.I swear I think they could make a miner faster!
Man, I hope there is something inside that box holding those heavy heatsinks in place or there will be a bad rattling sound when those boxes arrive...
I have more practical problems that need solving lol

They will continue to progressively increase over time. This is how PPLNS works.

Is this Marcus? How much staff do they have? No, tis I, and plenty work here. It's a monster manufacturing facility, but not all staff want to be on camera. The waybills are legit. You'll be seeing tracking ids soon enough. That one was to Spain. So if he's reading, speak up.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a dick. Just wanted to know why it wasn't more popular if it's resilient to ddos attacks. You did answer my initial question, so thanks for that. I think main problem of that is because p2pool node needs basic knowledge to setup (but there is public nodes !!!) and PPLNS systems - many newbies to p2pool hate that they don't get reward instant after start mining
Gotcha. A bit harder to set up, so probably less popular for that reason.

Seems BFL are responding with a Monarch prototype.
it does not take a lot to make a prototype board for demo purposes if you don't show the ASIC chip more smoke and mirrors.
That's right, exactly like the smoke and mirrors boards KNCminer were showing photos of until two days ago when we saw the first chips. If you look at the picture, there is a lot on that BFL board, a Cyclone FPGA, an Altmel 32uc3, it's no toy.

"...and there's a worthwhile reason for pulling an allnighter. " Curious about that I will say that the guy in that video packaging that miner hasnt packaged a lot yet. Im sure he will get better at it in the coming week Yeah, I realized that as well. The person acted clumsy, as he never had did that before. Notice that there is one part of the box which says "THIS SIDE UP". The person could not figure out how to leave that part visible when closing the box. By the way, I noticed something out of usual coming from the metal case: What could be that? Perhaps a power connector?

This is nonsense. p2p file sharing networks are. p2pool is not.

Have you seen the No 1 definition of BFL in urban dictionary? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=BFL Seriously, who would order from them when if you google their name the words "scam" and "new customers beware" etc come up on the first page?
