Met Alex at the Atlanta Bitcoin Conference yesterday. The miner he had with him was impressively quiet and barely warm. Looking forward to adding BFGMiner support when my unit gets here

Well, I'm doing my part. I wasted my Day 1 order by paying $2200 for hosting. That'll keep me from interfering with your profits. FML
ya man i know it sucks but it seems all these long winded debates just boil down to each person wanting their particular issue fixed/resolved in front of the other guy.. there's no 'level headed anything' going on dog eat dog and all

Did you SSH into the box to bring up Cgminer? I've seen mention of the web interface for setup but curious how you got that has screen up. The web interface doesn't have the info in your video. That video really helped me relax. Thank you very much for sharing.

Being they dont like talking on there OWN forums... they gave updates, with the firmware, docs, etc.. you miss them?? they dont pander to reply to comments directly since that is massive waste of time (answer one question directly and 50 come running up afterwards) you KNOW you would never stop asking questions if they answered you directly on the forums

do you not see that it is Putty?? go log into his miner @ 172.16.1.6 and point it to your bitcoin address lulz pro tip: you can save the connection in putty as a name, and then the IP won't show

Hashfast said they will ship in November. I emailed them and they said at around November 30th. Megabigpower said they will ship in October. I talked to them and they said at around October 30th. Cointerra says they will ship in December, but they mean at the end of December. KNCMiner said they will ship in September, and they started shipping on the 30th of September. KNC has been on track with their shipping. it is just that people dont know how to read between the lines.

It's averaging about 550GH at BTC Guild. Am still trying to figure out how only 1 of 3 "1-500" Jupiters pre-ordered (#58x) together was ready for pick up on thursday. But I guess it's better than none. Anotherhost is hosting it in Stockholm. http://bitcoin.anotherhost.se/

Looking forward to adding BFGMiner support when my unit gets here Hey, Luke, pleasure meeting you in Atlanta, and KnC's miner wasn't at the least warm when I touched it. I'm curious as to what one of those handheld infrared readers would show. Alex is a great guy! Can't wait to see the pic of him and I.

No doubt, that's the sign of the times - just shoot out questions first, then pay attention, then come back and say 'ya of course I knew', then take a joke too seriously, etc etc rinse repeat OCD ADD, etc we live in very twitchy times.. i blame social media, 24 hours news, retweets to infinity

So finally I'm set up & ready at home here for the first miner with a home ethernet to wifi hotspot network that's simply plug & play. After all the gatgets I bought over the last few days trying to accomplish ethernet to 4g android hotspot...the cheapest, easiest solution ended up being best. The little laptop is now a home network server bridge connecting any ethernet conercted device, right to the network, as if it were dsl. Right now, I'm using a simple 5 port ethernet switch to connect my desktops to the laptop, which has built in wi-fi.... which is bridged with the ethernet connection by a few simple clicks.(network & sharing center) This allows any computer or device plugged into the ethernet switch, a direct internet connection tunneled thru the laptop, right to my android hotspot. No wifi dongle needed. If you have a single miner, you don't need anything more than a ethernet cord from your laptop to your miner to add it it your home network by using Windows to bridge the ethernet with your existing internet connection. Hope that helps someone.

My day 1 early preorder early paid Jupiter. Still haven't gotten it. Why? Because I was fool to choose knc hosting.
Got screwed over big time. And I'm still waiting.... as they're having problems with their datacenter/setting it up.
And their compensation for hosting customers? An extra free month of hosting... to earn a measly half of a bitcoin
While this week, I've already lost a potential $1000-$2000.

If you choose to wine majorly on your own decision...... you're an idiot. If its running by Wednesday you're ahead.
