Common sense dictates that when an order is placed, it is implied the customer had grant good faith to pay for the product he requires. If the customer placed an order, the system must reserve the ordered product in the stock for that customer. Then the customer have to pay for the order during a certain period of time (invoice). This is explained to the customer at the time the order is placed. In ASIC-K case, he lost his order because a failure in the payment system, not because he refused to pay. KnCminer sales department should contact him and offer another payment method to complete the sale, however that is not what happened. ASIC-K order was just simple ignored and replaced for who could pay first.
In another words:
"Fuck you (ASIC-K) got mine (upgrade)".
thank you, thats EXACTLY what happened. whats the point of reserving a spot in queue then? erg, fucking knc. Come on, maybe we're overreacting Maybe they now fix the connection with bitpay and people is going to pay for it. how many could we be in this situation?

I placed an order at 8:06AM EST. Everything went smoothly, no errors and no delays. Bitpay also worked just fine.
Shipping is a bit expensive.

Maybe they didn't allow you to pay because it was out of stock?
Maybe it was out of stock before people bought them before you, faster than you, paid quicker than you?
Everyone was aware it was a limited batch, sorry if you missed out. No amount of temper tantrums will likely remedy the situation since you feel entitled.

no, I'm saying they shouldn't have allowed 3000 orders but only 200 paid units then the other orders are invalid, how does that make sense? if its sold out, then i should have been able to order not hard tounderstand is it?

From https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-65 All,
Thanks very much for all of the people who purchased the upgrade modules, The entire bunch of 200 sold out in around 3 minutes. We have over sold a little as we were not fast enough to disable the product in the shop. and bitcoin transactions take a few minutes to become verified
What we will say is that to everyone who has paid via bitpay for their order will receive an upgrade board.
We do expect that all boxes will leave this week and we will double the team involved in packing so it goes as quick as we can
Thanks KnCMiner Team If they know they oversold and can still fulfill those orders, they should be able to work in a few edge cases like ASIC-K as well, I would think.

They haven't They opened orders, at 2pm the site was flooded. Within 5 minutes the orders were fulfilled. They tried to close orders, net couldn't handle the load and Andreas was locked out. At 7 min he managed to pull the trigger, as a consequence quite a few more than 200 have to be fulfilled, so some more boards will be made for those. Bitpay crashed from load, error #404. Newegg sell out of stock of Arctic i30s within minutes. Blockchain is still processing some orders, well at least it was about an hour ago, as Bitpay doesn't pay transaction fees.

Man you are totally wrong you pay for a product , you expect it to work as advised you place a order you want to be able to pay it common sense not whining The problem is that the first who payed get their order first accomplished. Example: 400 people waiting in a queue infront of a cashpoint, where you will get the product (200 in store) , the cashier is asking you for the money. oh you didn't have it right now? please wait there till you have your money. Meanwhile 200 products were sold, sorry your are too late. First paid, first served.

https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-64Our company has now grown to over 40 employees and still growing fast. Right, over 40 employees but none competent to manage the sales front, the most important part of any business. If there was one single person confirming every sale by contacting the customers directly, there would be no unhappy customer. But they cannot even reserve an employee to pick up the phone... Irony: in the future ASIC-K get contacted by an outsourced sales department a la BFL: "Are you happy with your KnCminer product?" Which the answer should be: "Fuck you got mine!"

KNC delivered a broken product and does not reply to any of our phone calls or emails to solve the issue. This is COMPLETE Bullshit. I am very critical of how Bitcoin companies do business and have dealt with a lot of mining manufacturers. KNC is BY FAR the most responsive and the most professional when it comes to customer service. What I truly appreciate about them is, when a problem comes up, they still reply and deal with it, instead of being like most companies that just stop answering. Find something else to criticize them on because your statement is a complete lie
