It's a pitty that novaexchange still seems to have a lot of trouble.

The volume is down to 4.5 BTC... one person dumped today a huge amount (Not writing his name here, but just look at https://deeponion.org/stats.html and you will find out)

You can see that one person dumping more than 5k Onion has a huge impact on the price. Especially with this low volume and no possibility for new users to register and buy them. Thats basically the thing -> all Onion sold right now just switch hands between the same persons. As soon as one doesn't have any more money or just doesn't want to buy more Onion the price will drop.

A new safe, small exchange would be enough right now, just to give new users the possibility to buy Onion and help keeping up volume..

So don't worry guys. As soon as we hit a new exchange volume, number of individual buyers and price will grow slowly!

Thats what exchanges are for. They provide outlets for people to buy and sell. If you think it's cheap right now you buy (more). A lot of smaller coins have gone down somewhat because of bitcoin has gone down.

Alot of dumpers from airdrop, many people had fake account, some were even found with 9 accounts.  If they goes undetected they can do alot of damage.   But we are having less and less dumpers.  The team is doing an awesome job filtering them out and are getting pretty good at detecting them.

We should all thank them for that!  

The current supply is 3M coins and there's 110k to sell and only 5 btc of buyers right now.  So the price isn't liquid at all right now.  Hell i could dump all my coins and the price would fall 90% . 

So the actual price doesn't reflect the reality at all, thats why i was asking for the community to get together and buy a cryptopia listing.  The price would be much better right now and people would not complains.  (Well its not true since people ALWAYS complain about EVERYTHING, but you get the idea)

This is true, but at the moment we own for DeepOnion, you don't have to care about the amount of DeepOnion traded, just buy as much as you can and withdraw from the exchange, the sales order is above 100k ONION and the price has decreased, the important thing now would be to insure and buy more.

If you are a long term holder, it doesn't matter what the short term price fluctuations are. Even BTC and ETH had many short term corrections downward before they continued on their upward run. What matters is the development of the coin.

there are plans, but the outcome is sofar unknown.
I understood earlier that they were open again for registrations?! I can trade fine,but new members should be able to join the exchange, otherwise we only see sellings at some point

Gotta meet the requirements in order to participate in the airdrop... need to have the requirements down BEFORE you apply for the airdrop!  That's the mistake I made as well.

You can stake with as little as 1 coin but the network weight will be very high and it will take you many days to stake with so little.

Novaexchange is low-volume exchange.  Here spread (difference between buy and sell) of most of the coin is very large; so, the prices definitely here will be very volatile.  It may be very good if bull run is going, but very bad with bear run.  We need another exchange.  That will be good for the coin.
