I posted this on there a few hours ago answering a person, its an image of the front page of deeponion.org of the rules. Always good for new members to see it.

Am I right to say that the 90% lockup for the duration of the airdrop is what is keep the prices stable right now?

I am just afraid that when the airdrops are over, a massive dumpening happens. I brought 4k USD worth of onions on NOVAs a few days earlier, having weak hands here.

If you buy, so can you sell.  No one here is worried about people that want to use their money.

Imagine walking into a bank and being questioned why you want to take out your money... why, you'd never come back!

DeepOnion transactions are fast and friendly, you are free to do with them as you please.

However, I believe you are mistaken about  your assumption that price will go down after week 40.

You are steeped in a notion of price, when you really really should think about marketcap.  After week 40, less and less coins will be entered into the system.  Right now the price is on a slight decrease (okay, not TODAY, but you know what I mean) because we're getting so  many coins.  The tech is coming up, the coins will grow, the community will be thinking of innovative uses for coins, etc.  I've already got plans to write about a few unique ways ONIONs can be used for real world applications, others will too!

The 40 week problem is, in fact, a myth.  Dumpers will dump whenever.  Think about this.  If you held 5 cloves of garlic and they were going rotten, would you eat them now?  Yeah, you would, because after they go rotten they're worthless.  ONIONS are like garlic!  People that think they are going rotten have no reason to stay until week 40, and will drop out along the way.  Expect turbulence week 40, but not a tsunami!

That is probably true, those who will reach the very end of the 40th Airdrop will hold even further. If they will have a reason to.

But many things might come into our lives when drastic (well, i have over exaggerated with using this word) decisions need to take place, like selling ONION just to sustain our basic needs (food, accommodation, etc.). We cant put everyone in the same basket.

FYI guys, as I see this URL being thrown around A LOT -  https://  onionfaucet.  win runs a MONERO mining script on your unsuspecting PC while on this page. CPU usage blew up to 80% while on it. Worse is that they didn't even have the decency to tell you they're running it without your knowledge, but its for another coin!!

Wow thank you Monkii for bringing this to my attention. I was wondering why I got bitcoin miner notifications for malware in my cache on that site, and now that i have closed the tab my cpu is way down. Robbing my cpu for their own good... shame.

This faucet should be closed, and whoever the creator should be banned from deeponion in my opinion.

I believe that a lot of people in the Deep Onion Community will get Rich. It's because of the way Deep Onion setup their disbursement of coins to the members. VIA AIRDROP. And yet, you cannot spend or use all those coins quickly and you will be blacklisted from the airdrop. Since, there are a lot of coins are left on the members. When the time comes that Deep Onion is already around $500/coin. These members that follows the rules of airdrop, which they hold the coins, will become very rich.

Deep Onion will be very proud that, when that time comes. They can say, Deep Onion rules and policy on airdrop made a lot of obedient person on the Deep Onion Community, very rich.

This I believe, why Deep Onion made those rules and regulation for the airdrop privileges.

For now, that is a really great result, leading ONION to be put on next exchange.

But hold your horses, saying $500 per ONION is ludacris, no matter the time frame.

Whos to say in years onion will not be worth 500$?  Bitcoin could well be worth 20-30K... Onion could be worth well over 500$
