I urge caution on anyone trading, this could be a pump and dump. I spend a lot of time looking at markets and it happens a lot. We've seen 2-3 BTC's of trading on regular basis and an order like this makes me suspicious, my advice (if you're day trading) is to sit tight, no buying or selling and wait for things to settle.

It can and in the way already is. Bitcoin scripting language has an operator, whose sole purpose is to store data on blockchain. Moreover you don't even need a special script operator to do this, in fact data & messages had been stored on bitcoin blockchain before that operator was introduced. That said, no Bitcoin wallet has a frontend for creating this type of transaction. So even though you are able to store hashes of files on bitcoin blockchain (or any blockchain for that matter) you'll have to construct that transaction programmatically through a console, which not an easy thing to do. So the fact that DeepVault will construct such transaction for you and all you'll have to do is click on a button is pretty big in my book.

Just for laughs, here's an example of bitcoin transaction used to store a text message on blockchain (this is not my transaction, it was posted on bitcointalk some time ago and I just bookmarked it)

I cant tell you the exact date by now, but it will be airdropping until around April next year, so theres plenty of time to be a part of this wonderful thing Just keep calm and wait for an opportunity to join the drop! But you can also participate in the official forum, theres plenty of bounties or giveaways.

Thanks for taking the time to post, its very interesting to see some of the details behind staking, it seems like a bit of black art but I guess after the explanation, there is sense and meaning to it. ITs also a great way of wealth creation - free money, earn money just by holding coin.

It is always good news when investors come in to buy and support Deep Onion. However, it would be better not to focus much on it. Prices fluctuate, depending on maket sentiment and traders' preferences. Take it as an inspiration to work harder to contribute to the Deep Onion community. Be inspired that there are early investors now coming to Deep Onion coin that see its potential like many here do.

It escalated quickly. No wonder many people wanted to buy an Onion. Stable network, Excellent developer, and great community.
