Noticed some of the CSGO major games listed on Herosphere.    Should be good for me to get upto speed with CSGO as I have not been watching every team as often as I used to.

However the landscape has definetly changed in this year from the age old dominant teams.    I was discussing with a friend on the 3-0 and 0-3 challenge 'pickem' challenge within the game and advised him not to side with the obvious favourites.
I wont say the result but one of the biggest teams in the game took a surprising loss already and will have upset alot of peoples predictions.    Definetly prime betting turf I reckon.

Hope I will be able to lay down a few bets for fun and see how it goes, should be a good major.   They also fixed the smoke bug as of last night which is important.

I bet on the Avangar vs G2 game but didnt see another listed for the CSGO major after that.   Would be good to be able to bet more, seems like to finish that bet I would be placing choices on a series of games ?   At the moment I'm near the top of the points scored but not 100% familiar with how it works yet

I do think people are going to take time to become familiar with the games setup and format, the fantasy pick part is straight forward enough but overall I would guess people are not exactly sure of the bet vs reward details yet.
Will all the major games be on there, hopefully thats possible as that will be the main interest at present and its just a bi annual event

Good point. At least the team could provide the community with a series of instructional and how to videos and articles to further acquaint them with the platform. Also I think a walk-through video would be much greater instead. Imho.

Thanks for that feedback, we will try to improve the experience in the future. Right now in our contest everyone can find an info tab, where all the contest rules are explained, I will copy it here for everyone who is reading only on the thread:

Contest Rules
The contest will only start if at least 3 participants have joined. Otherwise your buy-in will be refunded.

Fantasy Rules
In the fantasy section you need to select your 3 favourite players. You collect points for the leaderboard, depending on the performance of these players within the matches of this contest.

Kill: +2 points
Assist: +1 point
Death: -1 point
First Blood: +3 points
Assist First Blood: +2 points
Selected player not playing: +25 points

Match Rules
You can collect points for each match in this contest. If you predict the correct result, you will get the most points, but even the correct tendency will bring you points for the leaderboard. When you missed to place your bets or your prediction was wrong, you do not get any points.

You can get 21 points for perfect predictions. Predictions with the correct winner tendency is rewarded with 15 points.

Ranking (Tiebreaker)
Tiebreaker rules for the ranking are
1. count of perfect predictions
2. count of submitted predictions
3. contest join date
4. user registration date

Payout
Top 45% of the ranking will double the buy-in

Good point. At least the team could provide the community with a series of instructional and how to videos and articles to further acquaint them with the platform. Also I think a walk-through video would be much greater instead. Imho.
