I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL?

If you have only 250 ETH, I suggest you to sel 100 ETH and buy bitcoin and other top altcoin to deversify risks

Never sell crypto unless you really need money. Otherwise you will regret it a year later.
Sell only a little part of it when your total portfolio will be big enough.

Good traders always have entry and exit plans before creating position on markets. But cryptocurrency market is different and very volatile,so cashing out gains with trailing stop is better idea than partially selling.

However, experience is a great teacher.
Past, I couldn't resist the urge to sell and I made some boneheaded decisions.

Hold on tight my friend. Don't you ever think of selling. What you are holding right now is already a good investment. ETH is undoubtedly showing it's intrinsic value. Slowly but inevitably following BTC's footsteps.

Trailing stops or securing profits will really be always be advised specially on this very volatile market of cryptocurrencies which is actually different on forex or stocks same as you said.Making positions or orders will really vary on a traders skill and knowledge since we do have different level on knowledge when it comes into this field.Going back on 250 ETH holding if op did able to hold it off until these days then he would really cherish the profits that he do made since the price he have bought on those ETH are way more cheaper compared as of on its current price.

I would sell coins at a price of $ 500. After the ETH reaches this price, there will most likely be a fall. And at this moment it's best to buy coins again

But if you are not understand about what already happened with OP and you must try to re think again. Maybe op win on the dollar valkue but OP lost a lot of bitcoin value. remember OP made this thread at the price of ethereum still 0,07 btc for each.

If i have 250 eth i will sell 150 of it because of btc price is really high now and i will hodl the 100 eth.

250 eth is a big amount if i have 250 eth i will inst it in icos evry ico 25eth , you got 10 differents coins , and hold it 1 year maybe 2 of this ico go up x5 or x 10.

If you want to waste your ETH to 10 ICO's you probably regret it pretty quick.
How can you even find 10 good ICO's? There's only few good ones. That's a bad way to waste 250 ETH.

If you bought your eth very cheap better hold it and just take a little profit. Ethereum has a lot of potential and it will still grow in the coming years.

250 ETH is a great asset. In my opinion you can divide it into many parts to invest. You can hold a part of the ETH to hold, the part you use to trade with other low value altcoin for profit and part you can invest in good ICO projects.

Just a suggestion hold your ETH because next year eth will pump up its price probably 1k $ most investors givea try at eth because of its low price for now but many speculations in 2018 that it will go 1k$. So you better hold it or you will regret that you will sell it now.

I would suggest you to hold it as long as possible so that you will be able to make excellent profit. It will grow much further and the best altcoin presently available in the marketplace.

If you want money you can sell but you don't need it, I see no point for selling your coins. Unless if you are planning to change your Ethereum to bitcoin or another coin.
