Please fix the transaction issue. This is most important issue than zerocrash.
Why ANC always stuck while other coin is not.
That is very upset.

...and the reason why withdrawals are not working .. thanks.

Hello everybody, i understand many of you are frustrated about missing the deadline, many of you are questioning whether the devs have given up. I had a talk with gnosis who is working very hard. He does not want to spend a lot of time explaining why he did not finish when that time could be used trying to finish sooner Wink

Right Now Gnosis is working on the ZC mint-related logic. The Zerocoin checkpointing however is more work than anticipated.

Within Check-pointing:
1) miners accumulating minted coins into checkpoints (DONE),
2) verifying checkpoints upon receiving a block (IN PROGRESS),
3) storing and loading checkpoints in leveldb
4) fix miner coin accumulation so it doesn't restart from scratch each time there's a new transaction

Gnosis say another day or so for #2

Next: (2-4 days each)
    wallet witness update
    wallet mint logic
    refactor CoinSpend
    RPC create spend + impl.
    store own spend pieces locally
    RPC get seeding spend proofs
    net: seed spends
    net: receive and verify spends
    store received spend pieces
    wallet spend logic
    GUI

I will try to answer as best i can any questions people may have.

I'm glad to here that! I realize breaking new ground is never easy. Something like Zero coin is completely revolutionary and has never been done before, so I am not surprised it is taking longer than expected. Any word about frozen transfers with Cryptsy? Like everybody else I am frustrated, but I still have faith in Gnosis. Tell him I'm with him!

there are 2 problems

1) Due to:
   a) low HashRate
   b) KGW difficulty targeting
   c) periodic participation of large multipools

there are wide oscillations in difficulty causing the blockchain to be "stuck" for several hours at a time without finding a block. This is a serious issue and is being addressed. A new difficulty algorithm is being tested. You can find the new algo in the replace_kgw branch on github.

https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/tree/replace_kgw

2) Non standard transactions being propagated by Cryptsy. These transaction are more 100kb in size. By default anoncoin clients do not send out transaction of these size and standard miners do not accept them. Cryptsy has refused to acknowledge that they are doing anything wrong. However i have personally had many problems  with Cryptsy including negative balances and delay withdrawals with other coins in the past. As a result of these i do not use Cryptsy for any of my trading. Regardless,

   a) K1773R is running a modified miner that picks up these transactions, this takes a while but will get them processed eventually
   b) I am working on a darknet exchange that will not have this issue

Good summary!

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

I have a withdrawal from Cryptsy stuck in the Netherverse as well... If those come through they will be my only ANC. I too have lost faith and dumped...

Have you got your ANC back?

One of the most annoying things about anc is that so many of the comments are directed at idiots.

So you post 3 wallet addresses and make an idiot deduction from them?

Of course no one has more than one coin address. They are like user profiles on this forum. Only one per person.

It has been clear for a long time that there is major manipulation of the anc martket using news from devs.

Whether any of those three is involved is unknown. Pretending that 3 addresses 'proves' these three are not involved in the longer term manipulation... what is a word that means more than stupid?

Someone used miners to effectively corner the market. The float is actually quite low. The fake market maker can do whatever he likes with the price because it is so thin. The huge btc volume is just noise.

Someone basically owns anc right now and it isn't any of us small investors. What is their agenda? Who knows.

My guess is they will continue stripmining the coin but keep the price low until the broader coin market heads up. Then they will cut off the supply and the price will skyrocket. Wait and see.

I am lazy to read whole story.

Is only problem delaying of zerocoin implementation?

Delay of implementation caused price of only 4 sat?

Who is mad here? Smiley

Delay of implementation caused price of only 4 sat?

Looks like that was during the Cryptsy outage and in this thread on the 2d page they mention that "spikes" like that are a flaw with their charting code.

This looks like a dead coin already. gnosis never kept his promises. I lost several BTC due to this liar. (How do you call a person who never keeps his promises?) Farewell ANC and good luck to all guys who will continue to support this project.

A new day is here, let's summarize things and move on.
Some members had sold, some with profit, some at a loss.
Part awaits with stuck transactions.

A part of us, I hope the most part continue to support the ANC.

I have many theories, but I'll forget them. It will not help me in the future.

Gnosis is on the news, and Anoncoin, that's pretty good.   Grin

I talked a lot with BroTroxer, he promised to get to Meeh, and he was surprised about whats happened..
Details will not go in public..

I still believe in  ANC, devs, and I expect soon to answer of Meeh, and final changes about problems with the transactions.

As one guy said, hold tight! Better days are coming!

PS
Coin is not dead, it is project in progress. Time will show the results!
Delay is what led price back down, and that's all new folks and you who advertise your scam here last day.

The transaction does not need to be resent as it is a valid transaction.
but you told non standard transaction. I thing you should  patch anoncoin client asap because when this "non standard transaction" has valid txID and in that case it's a valid and should be send and confirmed.

I just got replied from cryptsy.

There is an issue with the ANC blockchain where larger withdrawals do not confirm right away. They eventually do confirm but it is out of our control. Our wallet specialist is working with the developers for a fix. If you want your withdrawal to confirm faster the only ones that can help are the ANC developers.

 https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=227287.msg9191531#msg9191531

This can be evidenced by the links above where I point out the issue with the blockchain and the developers acknowledge that its a problem with the blockchain and not cryptsy.

@meeh how to fix that problem? please help.

No, you saw that 6M/3weeks scams,
and gnosis is not a coin. Don't care much of his interests.
ANC is bigger than that, for me.

Good News, I finished the front-end for a darknet ANC/BTC exchange. I expect to have something online before the ZC mainnet Smiley

You are part of that pump and dump with your imaginary darknet exchange. A liar covering another one!

No doubt
