I think this could be a good thing for getting ANC more attention. Does the dev team care to comment?

Thank you!

I see your explorer can display multisig address: http://ancblockchain.com/address/34b77hvtGJXoapFzrPc31Z3Y6oh7JaHDwf

Although I cannot display the transactions going to such an address. Can you do something about it? Or is it ABE that cannot do it?

Glad to see activity in ANC development.

Is the wallet @ Vircurex working?

What other exchanges are working atm?

In other words, where can I buy ANC and withdraw them?

Thanks!

Based on this is looks like release A should be close to done! Hopefully this will result in a permanent fix to the past wallet issues

Here is a tutorial for how to generate a 2-3 multisig address for those interested. This is a feature of the new upcoming 0.9.4 client, I do not know if it is supported on the older builds.

Bleutrade and Bittrex have stopped to trade ANC and cannot be used.

Vircurex has been involved into scam tactics and shall not be used.

Cryptsy has the withdrawals stopped until the new version will resolve the issue.

CEX.io is working well.

BTC38 is also working well.

To trade, you are welcome to use the last three.

You're supposed to have hundreds of people building a super network of coins that promises revolutionary features, and yet you can't look up four simple parameters in the github repo?

Some commits to github today? Anything significant?

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

FACTS:

1. Many ANC holders (including myself) have been disappointed by previous delays in the development schedule and remain cautious about future promises

2. ANC was the first to implement native I2P support (AFAIK) which is an area that has received increased focus lately due to weaknesses found in the more popular alternative Tor
https://privacysolutions.no/

3. The dev team has been communicating a lot less recently on bitcoin talk (perhaps to avoid another backlash from setting new deadlines for upcoming goals that are eventually delayed). However it is obvious that work is continuing:

https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule
https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/tree/develop
https://wiki.anoncoin.net/How_to_generate_a_2-3_multisig_Anoncoin_address

WHAT IS NEXT FOR ANC?

My guess is that Zerocoin will take much longer to implement than the last estimate we saw from Gnosis:
https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=227287.msg9259153#msg9259153
I think it will take much longer

However I am still excited about the future of this coin because of:

1. The Anoncoin name and its fair launch
2. Upcoming multi sig support
3. I2P integration and the vast experience of meeh in this area

I doubt many new merchants will start to accept ANC until "release A" (https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule) is complete eliminating all wallet bugs. However once that happens, I think we have enough to gain a lot of traction even before Zerocoin is ready (which I think will take a lot more time)

The above is just my opinion. Review the github commits, etc and decide for yourselves.

Yes, would you be so kind and direct me to where I can find all that information?

Min tx fee 200000 satoshi (line 53): https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp

3 minute block target (it's in the README.md): https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin

Not sure what you mean daemon file...

example anoncoin.conf (assuming github has correct spelling): https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/blob/master/debian/examples/anoncoin.conf

The path for the conf file should be the same as any bitcoin clone: %appdata%/anoncoin for windows and ~/.anoncoin for mac/linux.

That took all of five minutes, probably less time than you spent constructing your message and checking this board. If I had any UNITY I'd go dump it now based on your stellar sleuthing skills.

Or one might consider that SN thread is a friendlier place that is more welcoming to basic questions, instead of being met with a major bug up ones ass attitude attack.
