Today's payout on 1400khash: 0.012 BTC
LTC comparative pay on 1400khash: 0.462 LTC * 0.0298 BTC/LTC = 0.0138 BTC

Looks like 13% for me. Also because of the fee (3%), it's more like 10% lower than Litecoin. Right?

Have you included the unexchanged and immature in "todays payout" from middlecoin?  If not the comparison with straight litecoin is not fair.

Also the 3% should be more like 4% as you need to add an exchange fee as well.

guess the aussies will want a server too Wink
we have been mining at the us server for a couple of days and im getting good result although im in eu and ping is >200ms at least from cgminer stats, I got <5 stales and getwork failure and 2-3% rejects in a day. This might be because we were switching coin infrequently, from cgminer looks to me like we have been only mining dogecoin and litecoin.
I switched to eu server and just now I saw coin with network difficulty 44, might be catcoin.
Thanks h2o for the great work Smiley

Has anyone ever herd the proverb "you don't cut down a money tree" ?

Since H20 is making a massive continues profit from middlecoin, and it's been running for quite a long time now, why should he risk stealing?

Even if he does a total smash and grab and stop paying out completely, stealing 100% of mining power, he would only make as much BTC as would have made in a little over a month from a 3% fee. So why should he do that? And if he wants 4% or 5% why not just raise the fee? The average payout is still higher than multipool and hashcows as far as I can tell, even if he doubled the fee.

Before someone does a comparison to another pool over at least a week, and show a continuously higher payout from another pool, everyone should really stop trolling and accusing H2O of stealing.

I have gone my whole life without ever accusing anyone of stealing, and throwing such accusations around  so lightly, is really a character flaw that you should work on before it costs you more then a bad forum rating.

Thanks H2O, everything is working stable for me right now, dont have any stales at the EU. Just wondering why i didnt get paid tonight, i had more than 0.01 btc, in fact im using the python backend tool for the statistic, so it shows always a higher earnings than the http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/reports/1PcFb6x9RgSDKVFVZCbmiPRajj1AYvfqRd.html

I thought about that, but you have to think that the unexchanged and immature payouts can be paid anytime within the next week...with LTC it would be a payout today, so comparing what LTC would payout today compared to what was paid out today on middlecoin, it was a really shitty day... You should never get paid less on middlecoin than what you would get on a straight LTC pool.

Also, my hashrate I away down right now, anyone else? I've been averaging around 6500khs these past few days and now I'm at 5300. I also tried using the northern va server since I'm in Virginia, but it didn't change my ping much. 97ms compared to 107 with middlecoin.com. I changed it back but still a lower hashrate.

Yes profits are down, but all altcoin profits are down.  A good test is to go into the #hashcows irc room.  They have a bot which let's you calculate a profit estimate using your hash (!calc x where x is you kh/s) for that day.

This is currently showing 0.0063BTC/Mhs/24hrs which is significantly lower than the 0.00857BTC/Mhs/24hrs paid yesterday on middlecoin

that people are complaining about here.

So maybe litecoins are more profitable right now, then it's your choice to mine litecoins instead.  I might switch my miner over for a day or two to diversify anyway and then see if the profit returns to altcoins and coin switching.

Also keep in mind that BTC price has increased the past few days. Alt coins have been flat or down in price, so getting nearly the same amount of BTC or slightly less makes sense.

As he said this is his FULL-TIME JOB (that means 40 hours/week as he's in USA)

Clearly he's a LIAR otherwise he would post more than 1 sentence per day and he would explain the accusations against him for theft!

This pool is the most obvious scam I've ever seen.

I will GLADLY take bets with anyone whether this pool ends up a scam or not.

You sound butt hurt ..... the more you cry the more I will mine to keep the tears flowing.

Cry me a river.

Well the changes seem to be making the server more stable but I have one question should we we changing coins this much?

We start at diff 40                        00:24:33 PST
Block was Found                           00:24:33 PST
Diff 40                                        00:24:37 PST
Block was found                           00:24:37 PST
Diff changes to 3.37K                     00:25:13 PST  (Total time between diffs = 40 seconds)
Block was found                            00:25:13 PST
Diff changes to 214                        00:25:25 PST (Total time between diffs = 12 seconds)

That just seems like it is a bit much for changing when there is a total of 52 seconds between 3 coin changes (this is just a small example of what I have been seeing over the course of the last few hours)

I am running on middlecoin.com:3333 with a ping time of around 28ms to the server

Don't get me wrong I can't argue with the stability I am just curious as why we would switch coins that fast, I would think there would be around a 5 - 10 minute hold on a particular coin before switching.

Our last diff was 214 which started at 00:33:39 PST and ended on 00:43:37 PST at which time it switched to diff 193, total time between coin changes 9 minutes and 58 seconds - This seems more like the range it should be, just not sure why other times it changes so fast (might be a bug in the switching  algorithm or the calculation algorithm for figuring out which is the most profitable coin)

just an observation that I am seeing with the new changes and wanted to point it out.

Not sure what steroids the singapore server is on but my stats are awesome after changing to it
Same hash rate of about 876kh/s but my WU is way up....827...its usually around 760.
As a consequence the red line on the coingeek graph has started to go up at a sharper angle.
Should be a good payout tomorrow if this keeps up
