I've just noticed that I've been mining and submitting share for the last 24+ hours or more but I'm getting *ZERO* credit.  That's quite upsetting...

Typo in your wallet address?

Sorry I didn't realise I was speaking in another language , I must be going mad

For what it's worth, I understood what you were asking, and was quite surprised at the fallout Smiley

It is a legitimate question, is there any correlation between BTC-USD and BTC-ALTCOIN exchange rates. From the answers you received, I guess not.

Comment(s) on the incessant whinging over the middlecoin payouts:

1) This pool is mining a huge amount of dubious financial instruments - altcoins, in which it has to dump on ill-liquid exchanges. This is a tough problem.

2) Expect variance in something that has a high rate of return.

3) The ultimate safe, no variance investment is T-bills if you don't want to lose sleep. So if you were to put your $5,000 instead into t-bills, expect about 50 cents a day back.

Not important on the forum, but the missing "d" in "ping midlecoin.com" might be a problem  Smiley

I think Scrubfire was talking about your spelling regarding the ping statement. If you tried to ping "midlecoin.com" instead of middlecoin.com it just couldn't work Smiley

Connecting to EU server today has been a rollercoaster. It was up, then down, then up again, then it turned upside down... I'm now connected to useast but if you are eastern based I'd try with the Asian server as it might offer a lower latency for your location.

Guys check out leaserig.net .03BTC/Mhz .. if middlecoin is beating that please stay. BTC right in your account after lease! Super easy to lease. Currently 100% Rigs leased. If your rig is not leased you can keep mining at middlecoin as backup.. win-win

I'd wager it'd be similar to all the other 4MH/s miners: http://www.middlecoin.com/allusers.html

Scroll down to the 4.xx range and have an eyeful.

Thanks.

If you're getting less than 0.03/MH/s, you can try leasing out your rig (minus their fee I guess) at the given site. Since you're helping someone mine that doesn't have a rig I guess you could call it win-win-win Smiley

Was first announced a couple of pages back.

Someone suggested people that do not have the equipment might still pay more than buying those coins directly with their money, because some coins aren't yet traded. I.e. they want in on some early mining of new coins but don't have a decent rig to do so.

At least, that's how I understood it.
