It is a legitimate question, is there any correlation between BTC-USD and BTC-ALTCOIN exchange rates. From the answers you received, I guess not.

Regardless of whether he's talking BTC, USD, exchange rates, or garden gnomes it was still a selfish and entitles question. Someone somewhere told him he should make XXX for his hashrate. Now he's not making XXX and wants someone to compensate him in other ways.

total btc payout and checks against mtgox for my currency. Feel free to use it and improve it.

You think? I found it genuinely interesting.

What would be the minimum recommended single thread speed (in kh) for the current (1024) difficulty to avoid loosing processing time? (new block comes before I finish processing something)

So far it seems that it's better , a 7950 single thread at 550KH than a 280X dual thread at 720KH, is that correct? or do I need to do the math again?

Doesn't matter from what I can tell.  I have an old rig with 3 7850's (360KH ea) churning just fine with no difference in payout than the 512 diff.

i disagree with people spamming off-topic comments, but at this point i would defend their right to say it.  I wouldn't allow things posted in this thread (e.g. middlecoin op's 'IRL' personal information), but this board tolerates free speech.  so it's 'ignore', or nothing.

i've been in this thread reading for the past few days, and just wanted to re-confirm we're still mining for bitcoins, right?  sometimes it's hard to tell given the low signal:noise.
