This current stats freeze is a bit different though.  During the previous stat freezes, the JSON api's that BFPCoin and others use were still updating.  This time they are not.  So it seems to be a bit more than a "front-end" issue.  It's lamentable that we can't seem to get more than 2-3 days uptime on the stats.  Label me a noob and a hater if you wish, but it's not like that at all.  I really like middlecoin, just want to make it better.  Wish he would take me up on my offer of database help.  It's what I do for a living.

All the last times the stats have frozen the JSON has been frozen as well for me. So it's pretty much the same as always.

Yup...

There should be middlecoin-haters thread so all people could have their frustration there.
Then we could have constructive thread here.

How is airing grievances with the stat issue not "constructive"?  We all pay our 3% to H2o.  Do you believe it is not sane to expect the stats to work daily and to not have issues every 24-48 hours??

The Middlecoin stats DB have become the cryptocoin equivalent to the Obamacare website.  Pay a ton of money into it and it still breaks constantly.

Maybe H2O IS the government... O.o

But in all seriousness, as the number of miners (and thus new data points) continues to grow, we will probably continue to experience issues with the DB until it's rewritten to be less I/O intense. As long as my miners are getting accepted shares / my payouts are near where they should be I'm not worried, however, I do understand the frustration some users are feeling over the consistency of these (minor) issues.

One "airs grievances" by directly addressing the party with whom one is aggrieved.  Posting your complaints on a public forum hoping for others to chime in in agreement is whining, not "airing grievances."

Guys and gals,

Please consider allocating at least half of your hash to hasbros.co.in as soon as possible.

I had mined at middlecoin before but the lack of transparency and communication troubled me. Multipool is a viable option as well, but I am excited about hashbros:

http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1ua4d6/hashbros_multicoin_pool_with_profit_switch_alpha/

Hashbros offer transparent communication from the pool founders since they themselves were victims of frauds and hacks, so they seem to believe in open communication and as much transparency as possible. They offer lower fees, much better security, nicer web ui.

Middlecoin, simply, has grown to too big for altcoins. Because of its size, it can't mine some altcoins, for fear that it will crush the exchangeability of that weak coin. Additionally, do you really want one pool to dominate in such a way that it monopolizes?

I know change is hard. But sometimes you have to do the right thing.

Good luck to us all!

Uh, no.  The "airing" of grievances is, by the very definition, to make public.  Hence the word "airing".

Whining, on the other hand, is to utter a plaintive, high-pitched tone or to protest in a childish fashion.  Neither of those I have seen here lately.

And what is hashbros mining?
If middlecoin crush altcoins then what is the point of new one.

Can someone please provide an estimated earnings per MH for Hashbros? I understand this is based on a combination of a lot of variables including the number of participants to coin mined to my configuration, etc. I don't need schooling on that aspect but need a general earnings average for the entire pool. Thanks.

Here are my personal estimated daily earnings for my hash rate : .0065 BTC / .75 MH

So roughly .0086 BTC / MH

And thats with most of the day at about 6 MH on the pool. We're sitting at 65 MH and growing. Once the hash rate goes up, we get access to more coins.

Second statement is from HB admin.

So from the statements above. One pool is too big for its own good and the other is too small for its own good.

Oh, I know.  I have had plenty in my day!

Look, the bottom line is that the many of us that complain about Middlecoin's "quirks" are still happy here.  My rigs are basically set and forget.  I haven't even logged into them in a week as I can check on their status via a webpage I have setup for remote monitoring.  I also get pretty good payout here.  I basically meet or even beat the Dustcoin projections for my hashrate on a daily basis.

But it's damn unprofessional to have the stats go down on a 24/48 hours basis.  Most of us like to check our balance here on semi-hour basis and we haven't been able to do that easily for days without using 3rd party apps/websites and those don't always load correctly on mobile devices.  It was a Coingeek problem last time.  Ok, fine.  I get that.  But it is still H20's responsibility to notify his customers (us!) of what is going on.  Now it appears that it isn't a Coingeek problem this time as the JSON data seems frozen.

It just seems that if I were knocking down the $/day that H2o is, than I would either fix these problems myself ASAP or get it farmed out to a programmer who knows what he is doing.  Or, at the very least, I would let my customers know what I will do about it even if it can't be done immediately.  I don't think that is an atypical request.

The question is, have you or any of those complaining sent h2o a PM or tweeted him on the main page twitter feed (effective action), or are you merely posting on the forum (complaining)?
