Hmmm the amsterdam server and the useast server have serious issues.

A lot of disconnects on Amsterdam and a lot of rejects and stales on useast.

On us east my rejects were breaching 10% today after being ~3% normally.  I took the advice from earlier in the thread and dropped intensity down to 18, from 20.  So far so good.  Increased WU values, and rejects seem lower so far.  Worth a shot if you've never tried.

Thanks for the advice but that isn't the issue (I13 G2) I switched to the main server and 0 stales and rejects till now.
Most other people in Europe that mine at middlecoin experience the same issues on amsterdam en useast, must be server related.

I also highly recommend Kalroth's version of cgminer! The xIntensity feature allowed me use 2 threads with my 7950, getting it to hash on par with my 7970!

http://k-dev.net/cgminer/

You're getting over 700KH/s from a 7950?  Shocked

Been running all night at 669KH/s, so close!

I'm using 4 as XIntensity (not the normal -I) and two threads with -g

Nice, the 7950's are cheaper than many of the other options.

Does anyone know if the 7950's use more/less power than the R9 280's?

The R9 280's were kings in terms of price/hashrate/power usage but I am wondering if the 7950's with sgminer can beat them...

Thanks in advance.

I can tell you that my Gigabyte 280x gets a steady 730Kh/s and I have it undervolted to 1.075 and it stays around 73C, but I also bought mine for $300

Would love to see this on iOS.

There is an iOS app now, although it lacks alert features, but you can indeed periodically check you hash rates.

Are you talking about this one  ?

I am also using SGMiner, but I don't think it really makes a difference. SGMiner allows me to use -g 1,2

Can somebody explain why some people have higher unexchanged then others, even with the same hashrate they have?

To the folks who suggested Kalroth's cgminer with the xintensity feature, you have my thanks.  His version is better in pretty much every way, near as I can tell.  I have increased hash rates across the board.  And I can run my Linux desktop on top of a 7950 doing 600kh/s without it seeming lagged.

Incidentally, I have my 7950's running with xintensity 4, gpu-threads 2, and shaders 1792.  280x's the same except shaders 2048.

Oh, and with this version, I can underclock the memory on my 7950's all the way down to 900Mhz with no change in hash rate, which saves a significant amount of power according to my kill-a-watt.  The 280x's wouldn't accept anything but the default memory clock without throwing a fit, however.

What kind of hashrate are you getting with the 280X with Kalroth's cgminer?

What kind of hashrate are you getting with the 280X with Kalroth's cgminer?
715 at stock clock rates.  That's actually just about the same as with the unmodified cgminer since the 280x already likes 2 threads.  I have my overclock script running now, which will take until tomorrow to find the best clock rate.

The huge improvement was on the 7950's.

The easiest way to lower rejects is to ping each one of the servers and choose 2 or 3 with the lowest ping... Add the lowest as primary and the other as failover-only.

Wait for an hour and then monitor your miner to see what's the percentage of rejected shares. Rotate the servers above if needed until you get it.

AND NEVER USE WIRELESS ... unless you can not mine otherwise

My 10 rigs have some of the lowest rejected rates posted on MC, usually under .2 %, and are running on wireless just fine.

I think the real issue is if you want to run wireless, its important to have a good quality wireless router.

I use a cheap WIFI dongle w/ an Asus RT-N16, in an apartment building with lots of interference, while downloading on Usenet @50mbps....and still hash at full speed (2200kh/s) with 0.00mh/s to 0.02mh/s rejected Smiley

@ h2odysee

Approximately when can we expect to see the useast server come out of beta? I'm using cudaminer and I'm unable to set up a failover server so if I could just point it towards middlecoin and have it switch between the two servers if one goes down would be awesome.

When can we expect to see this kind of feature?

Do you have a script to find the sweet spot of a card ?
Would be nice to have it.

Why would middlecoin ever go off DOGE? It seems as if it's the most profitable and most of the time. Not to mention, it's one of the few coins that can take a 300 btc dump every day from middlecoin.
