To the folks who suggested Kalroth's cgminer with the xintensity feature, you have my thanks.  His version is better in pretty much every way, near as I can tell.  I have increased hash rates across the board.  And I can run my Linux desktop on top of a 7950 doing 600kh/s without it seeming lagged.

Incidentally, I have my 7950's running with xintensity 4, gpu-threads 2, and shaders 1792.  280x's the same except shaders 2048.

Oh, and with this version, I can underclock the memory on my 7950's all the way down to 900Mhz with no change in hash rate, which saves a significant amount of power according to my kill-a-watt.  The 280x's wouldn't accept anything but the default memory clock without throwing a fit, however.

Wait a minute, you are getting 600KH on a 7950 @stock? Can you please post all your settings and setup? I am barely getting 550KH @1050/1500. Thanks!

That's fine because you're at intensity 20 and also overclocked. I'd like to know how he's getting 600KH at stock. I forgot to mention my card is Sapphire...

I disagree as well.  Never profitable to continue a losing trend thinking that you can make up for it.  Probability doesn't work that way.  Switching as is works fine, if you want a pool that does the minimum round time thing look at trademybit, but it's the reason why their profitability is lower

Just want to say , Last payout was great thanks H2o , I also want to say I hate the power company for having so many blackouts after I get my rig running great and good share rates the fucking power cuts!   So if there's anyone here who works at a power station HOPE YOUR EYES FALL OUT! Lol no jokes aside, Hope everyone doing well.

If anybody has a secret sauce setting for getting better share rates please let me know because my rig has been underperforming for days.

It means nothing. Many a time has it flatlined and gone almost horizontal and then shot up. Basically what I'm saying is, it can look poor in the morning and turn out great, and it can look great in the morning and turn out mediocre/poor

And payout still the same? I will try this weekend, but normally i'd expect something like 1 mh/s at least. Especially with an extra GPU.
