But if there is a problem with trading ... it shouldn't affect proper immature and unchanged balance increase ... or?
Nothing against middlecoin. I'm very satisfied user but ... just ... curious why is it happening.

Not sure why you're saying the KH you're getting is at "stock" clocks.

He said stock volts  Wink

Ah OK. But he did say he's getting ~720 on stock clocks from a 280X which I find equally outlandish?
The Powercolor 280X has a stock core clock of 1030Mhz.  Factory-overclocked, I guess.  Which is why I could only overclock them from 715Kh/s to 740.

A: Taking a chance with a new coin that may blow up (like DOGE back in December)

If he's taking a chance with a new coin that might explode, Its not goin to do us any favours earning a penny a day is it ? Unless we have shares in the future prices ? Bit of a silly thing to say, No offense  Tongue
You only earn that penny if you exchange the coin when it's worth that... if you wait a day or two until it goes up, then you sell the unexchanged (which we are accumulating right now) for more than it was worth when you first mined it, you come out ahead. Even with the renting out of my rigs, I still have over 12MH/s left on this pool... I obviously want the best day possible too :]

Usually when this happens, it's a problem with the auto-trader or an exchange... the DOGE thing was a (very nice) exception

Thanks to you I'm now getting ~615KH on my 7950 using Karloth and these settings:

--xintensity 4 --worksize 256 --shaders 1792 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1055 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20 --lookup-gap 2

Didn't have much luck with the fan settings and the temps are still below 80c (without any evident throttling) so I'm cool there. Still beats the 550KH I thought was the maximum for this particular card. So unless you have any more advise I thank you muchly! Smiley

1) no --thread-concurrency or --worksize switches in your config?

2) the 7950 has a core stock frequency of 925Mhz (at least my Sapphire card does), so you're quite a bit overclocked there at 1055. Not sure why you're saying the KH you're getting is at "stock" clocks. Or were you referring to your 280X?
Yeah, I only meant stock clocks on the 280Xs.  And the point of xintensity is that you don't use thread concurrency.  It's used as a multiple of shaders.
Oops, I misspoke.  xintensity and thread-concurrency aren't (I think) interrelated.  But no, I didn't specify either thread-concurrency or worksize and cgminer appears to have figured them to be 8192 for 280Xs and 8960 for 7950s, and 256 worksize for both.

then go cry in the cryptsy thread?  Huh

I'm not that bothered about it like you make it out to be , (THE SKY IS FALLING BOLLOCKS!) , It just amazes me, All week I've been having issues , I get them sorted hashing better than ever, And earnings fall through the floor at the same time.
So its your destiny to have crappy payouts and by solving the other issues the only way to get rappy issues is to fuck up the whole pool ... Thanks a lot ... Cheesy

From the miner log I can see that we're mining a lot of a low difficulty coin (or several), and it could be that the value of those just don't show up in the immature/unexchanged if we're trading them on an exchange where middlecoin doesn't have access to the API.

The only downside so far is that I have 2 out of 60 GPUs that persistently hard hang after anything from 5 minutes to 3-4 hours.

I have the same issue. I have five 7950 Club3D and four of them are playing nicely with g=2, xI=4, threads=8192 @670kh/s, however one of them just hangs after a couple of minutes so I have to use g=1, xI=300, threads=24000 @650kh/s
