And another small update from your h2odysee IRC reporter! <h2odysee> the disconnects will end tonight. <h2odysee> the eu server's disconnects are fixed, and the rest are being fixed <DrunKenG> are the flat graphs part of this? <h2odysee> no. flat graphs are because i'm importing 4 days of manual trades <pheonix991> after the imports, will the servers be stable? <h2odysee> no, the imports are separate from the server stability issue. they will be stable in a few hours. I'll tweet when they are <BrianB> any word when diff will go back down? <h2odysee> diff will go down after DB upgrades. maybe a couple weeks. not sure.

Please don't bombard him with six million questions; I'd much prefer just the updates Acrobat does. Would be nice if he can designate a few people as liaisons for communications.

I was looking at the 1024 diff...and while people say it doesnt affect gains, it does slow the shares...
so when we are doing low dificulty coins what happens when a new block is found? i have to start calculating again and loose what i had done?
if its happening like this...its affects gains.
priceless misinformation It doesn't happen like that, and it doesn't affect gains, just short term variation in blocks submitted. When a new block is found, your machine starts calculating based on that hash as soon as it's detected. It's not a race to see how many hashes you can complete, it's like a lottery, where every hash you try has the opportunity to win - either a share, or the block.

And another small update from your h2odysee IRC reporter! ... <DrunKenG> are the flat graphs part of this? <h2odysee> no. flat graphs are because "i'm importing 4 days of manual trades"... This part caught my eye: i'm importing 4 days of manual tradesIn other words, while the stats have been showing growing unexchanged, h2o has been stealthily selling hundreds of thousands of $$ of coins for us on an undisclosed market!! That's why mine here often. No other pool that I know of has a fund manger like this working for them. We'll soon see what this means in our wallets of course.

True, your interpretation fits the quote too. We might never know which is true. He did say "trades" though, i.e. more than one. I like my addition to the lore better though ;p

fixed difficulty is easier on server load. VARDIFF is covered in the FAQ.
I understand that; that is why I was mentioning in the future if possible. I agree that VARDIFF is hard to implement but IF it was done we would get much better results on profit. No we wouldn't. re-read the FAQ.

If you read his post history, he's been trying to make it so all servers get equal shares for like 6 months now and still NO progress.
TOTAL BULLSHIT... The beta servers only launched in December, how does that translate to 6 months. Go back to your hole... we've been perfectly fine without your extortionist, blackmailing, scamming and overall (SHOULD HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM FORUM) posts.

Check the timestamp on the Middlecoin charts...they haven't been updating for hours because H20 is in the middle of manually inputting trades. So don't go by the stats on the site right now for your current hashrate. UPDATE: They just started updating again... may take awhile to get to everyone's personal stats... what do you see now for your Hashrate accepts?

Hmm, suddenly my middlecoin watcher shows a payout pending that will more than make up for the last few days, along with all the doge I mined in the last few days since I swapped half my machines over, woof!

You have 4.2% rejects which is a little on the high side but not unusually high. You could try lowering the intensity one step to see if that lowers them but I also think the amount of rejects will go down once h2o deploys the same fix he did for the eu server.

I think the problem is with asia server. It showed updates when I switched to middlecoin.com. When I again switched to asia.middlecoin.com, then no updates like before. Switched to middlecoin.com again and the updates work again and showing correct stats. So the asia server is not updating.
