The problem lies with you.  You have unreal expectations, yet you expect everyone to meet them.

Yes, people don't have control over what they type. They can't help it.

There is a certain level of language that is accepted in normal internet INTERCOURSE, and while you may find some of them personally offensive, that is your problem, not the problem of those indulging in the use of those words you find objectionable.

Do I wish that the level of discourse on the internet was higher, but however much I may wish it, I don't expect others to conform to my wishes.  If it offends you and you are unable to ignore it, as most people do when something offends their sensibilities, then don't read the thread, or go elsewhere.

Your whole argument rests on the fact that other people lack self control of some kind. If making personal attacks aren't acceptable, for example, then people made a decision to not accept that behavior. Why can't references to "gang-bang" also be deemed unacceptable?

The most certain means of attracting foul and/or objectionable language or behavior in a universe as filled with socially inept, immature, isolated, nerds, like most of us (I include myself in that crowd), is to voice your objections to it.

Most people understand this fact and thus ignore whatever offends them rather than express their objections.

The people lack self-control argument so never say anything. I hope you read what you type.

Oh yeah, BTW the word originally used, "banged," has far more common associations that have nothing to do with sex.  I suggest that your reaction implies the presence of your own personal demons and perversions.

The first thing I think of when I read of people being "banged," is that they are being hammered, pounded, physically struck, not that they are being "raped."

The word wasn't "banged". It was "gang-banged".

I am sure when people read "gang-bang" they think of a car being banged in the parking lot.

He took the bait! Cheesy

From "low payout crisis" to "share difficulty / profit correlations" and some "know it all bang-gangs" discussions...

This is definitely the MOST entertaining thread around! Grin

On a more serious note it seems the latest server updates were successful.

8h running connected to the main server (automatic redirection)

1% reject rate
No stales
No getwork failures

 Cool

Definitely.  This is my favorite thread to read when I am bored or need a break from work.

I haven't been getting many rejects at all lately.  Too bad all the shares that I do submit just get stolen by that thiefy little water odyssey...  Roll Eyes

what is your geolocation? more specifically, which server are you most likely being redirected to?

im still finding a fair amount of rejects when connected to useast (by and far the closest server, since it is in Va and i'm in MD). about 5-10%

I'm in Portugal.

Before the automatic redirection I jumped from amsterdam (lowest ping most of the time) and eu server.

Anyone else showing middlecoin.com is down?

It has been down for 8-9 hours.

said over and over again. read people.

you NEED to use WWW.middlecoin.com

here i'll prove it:
DOESN'T WORK - middlecoin.com
OMGZ WORKS - www.middlecoin.com

stats are not updating from coingeek likely for this exact reason. but other 3rd party sites (like this one) are working just fine.

That post was hilarious Cheesy Thanks, you made my day heh.

With the servers now out of beta, has the differences in rewards between servers been fixed?

the problem is that your "non-faulty" logic is totally wrong lol.

it has nothing to do with self control, and everything to do with personal preference. you prefer to live in a world of rainbows and unicorns where everyone is sensitive and politically correct. and you cry foul when something doesnt make everyone happy.

whereas most of the internet accepts the reality of the internet and embraces its cruel, vial, nature. because it's hilarious and we aren't all such pussies. so when one of you comes along, we have a good laugh at your expense by making you more angry. mission accomplished.

theres no issue with self control, most of us feel like theres nothing that NEEDS to be controlled (especially something as small as this). if you cant handle the language of the internet, my best advice would be to unplug your ethernet cord.

Haha, I must be drunk sorry. Seriously pissing in my pants rolling over the floor. How a serious (intended) post can turn into a asktom.cf meme Smiley Maybe some of you could try Comedy Central?

How would you go about writing that down in a police form? This guy, like, stole my hash rate. Dude, this is serious. No really. He just like stole 1.5mh/s.

If you are not joking, give it a while longer.

I bet no.
And if you are in Europe and using middlecoin.com as server you'll probably be redirected to eu or dam  servers which seem to be - now - the worst in profitabilty. Undecided

No but the stability problems have been fixed. I see no complaints of systems constantly dropping out and losing connection.

Also, middlecoin.com now points to the closest pool as H20 promised a while back.

more manual trades being imported, or exchanging a new coin that wasn't yet listed (thus wouldn't show up in unexchanged) like MEOW is my guess :]

Edit: or because your graphs got "squished" horizontally when the whole WWW thing happened earlier, thus we are further along into the day than the graphs report, and the slope of the line is not as great, as there are more hours to spread out the gain over

It's caused by missing time interval in stats. Try to use alternative stats viewer like http://stratehm.net/

Another day, another report, unfortunately my observer miner crashed with a hardware fault and I lost 4 hours of precious mining stats and precision. Recent payouts of 297 BTC/day and a speed of 21500 Mhash/s show a global reward of 0.0138 BTC/Mhash.
