In addition to their statement that they will not start processing refunds until shipping is completed, they have also stated that they will not process any support tickets until shipping is completed. They have now started shipping to the resellers, but those of us who ordered direct - before there were any resellers - are still waiting. Hence, still no refund processing and no ticket processing. To be fair, they also said that the compensation decision would be delayed until shipping was completed, but they have now actually made a decision about the compensation: "There will be no more compensation. You lose. You get nothing. Good day, sir." And they've promised that customers will get capacitors that will not explode. And miners that may or may not cause leukemia. So we have that going for us.

They can make this promise because they don't deliver anything ?

I'd say the major lesson learned here is that's if you're going to do business in China make sure it's actually run by a chinaman and not some eastern european once arrested for credit card skimming running a British front company out of the Virgin Islands doing double duty as a reseller catering to americans having more money than brains and are too busy playing video games to take the time to learn how google works. ftfy Oh PG, stop spreading FUD...Oh wait, you were right!

But it is all reusable!!! I run a 3 Litter water cooling system with 2x180 + 1x180 + 2.5L passive radiator running on a Garden fountain pump. And you can just put that stuff on future computer equipment or future mining equipment if you can manage to make it fit. So at most all you loose is your water blocks rest can all way's be reused.

Well today I asked minersource support if I could change my order for an Antminer S3 and pay the different and got the generic email saying now BA are shipping orders, they are no longer going to do anything.
Would rather wait for an S3 than the 1 x1 I ordered. Really not happy with any of this.

Uncharted my ass. You can't throw a rock in Shenzhen without hitting somebody who can design these PCBs on time.
Haha. Made my day with that. Fact! While all these western companys fail to design and ship out these simple boards with their fancy chips. Shenzen scene kicks ass. Shenzen still have lack of very cheap Asic chips but Innosilicon could drop price on their 28nm chip and flood the market. Friedcat.. I have personally visited shenzen factory scene and its something you cant imagine. They can make anything. Cheaper than rest of the world. Miner can be made with 100$ excluding chips + psu. Shipping for average weight 20kg miner is +100$ Still much profits in mining industry but it all flows to manufacturers and owner of Chips design.

The minersource site is saying tracking numbers have been issued for the first X1's. Good news.
Except I'm batch one and I still don't have a tracking number. Bobsag, is the next batch enroute to you or no information on that yet?

No information yet, and I havent finished generating labels for this batch yet. Only got about ~35 orders processed so far. Testing + inserting PSUs for shipment.
