So, if i ordered prospero x-3. As i know there will be 2 boxes. 2 devices x 1TH. So if PSU is integrated, that means its already inside the device? But what about ethernet cables, are they included in our package or we have to get them by ourselves? And as I understand we will need 2x ethernet cable as there will be 2 devices?

you are worrying about an RJ45 (ehternet) cable? are you serious? you can get those anywhere... i would rather worry about getting the ASIC itself.

As much as I am sceptical to the whole BA debacle, my refund request from Minersource went through ok and without much hassle. So kudos to Minersource for that at least!

Any update on cash refunds, BA? My support ticket has gone unanswered for over a week now..   Undecided

from the last BA progress update:

8.Customer support:
a.We are still lagging behind and have a queue of 700 tickets. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience please bear with us until we get this sorted. Our most experienced agent (Julia) is in maternal leave, the next experienced one (Alexey) is working on the case half time and the 3rd one (Sylvia) is in training. We have one other agent (Matt) working part time, remotely, but his limited time does not allow him to make much progress.
b.Customers must understand that our headquarters from China do not have access to Facebook. This account is maintained from abroad and they are unable to access any customer support issues.
c.Few customers have requested refunds. Please rest assured that we will refund the USD in May and we are trying to refund BTCs sooner but we are waiting for a legal document which was not returned yet. Please note that customers opening more tickets will just get you back to the end of the queue as we reply the tickets in the reverse order of activity.

bobsag3 would you mind answering a few question's ? You have been to London and have met with Blackarrow
would you mind sharing with us your thought's on what type of person he is,Did he come across as genuine to you ?
did it sound like he had good intention's,Did he seem motivated to get thing's done. Can you please give us a picture
of who we are dealing with hear.Your PR/CS is Diabolical people very much need reassuring regularly that there investment is safe
and that there miner's are in the pipeline. There seems to be a lot of Doom and Gloom post's on hear and me personally i don't
want to read/hear that i have been conned weather it is true or not it is not good new's and i would rather not read it.
people have and can make up there own mind's about what is going on.I myself have a bit more faith and do believe BA will deliver
eventually but it is when is what i am most concerned about.By this stage i would have expected and update saying we are waiting on the arrival of the chip's everything else is more or less in place and we are looking forward to shipping your unit's as soon as they are assembled.  My view/Neutral stance

My sister addresses 300-400 emails a day from truckers, not an easy crowd to address. Also, during her 8 hour shift, she books hotel rooms and places calls to convenience stores making them aware of What Nut (inside joke--see AMT if curious). Her initial training period was 3 days after leaving the warehouse floor. She has no formal education to perform said tasks.

These assholes are lying!

Are the emails in Chinese?

I dunno, i ordered an x-1 waaaay back in sept when the price was damn nice on these things for a feb delivery. Now with the announcement of the s2 coming out, it seems like these are going to be pretty useless when they finally launch. Not a significant power savings or anything. This technology is going to be dated before it even hits our hands.

I was really hoping this wasn't going to be an issue as it seems like a fucking headache to figure out but "Black Arrow Ltd are actively monitoring the market to remain competitive and are seeking to become a major player in this field. They are currently offering an attractive offer: customers placing orders now will be protected against any price decrease prior delivery on the original price tag by being offered a proportional increase in hashing power at no extra charge. The sales model on the new line is attractive to their first customers who are guaranteed to receive a much improved deal."

I think by the time these hit they are going to wind up having to sell them cheaper than they were originally selling them for with the discount and such.

1 th for 3600 bucks april 10th from a company with an actual track record of delivering goods.

The heat is on, someone is going to get burned.

We can't grow when we won't criticize ourselves!

I bet you're talking about me. BTW, AMT and Bitmine have bit the dust. Know what else? DZ is MIA, thus no more Hawaiian Vetting Service. Don't worry, though. There's a new bitcoin miner seller up and running to order from and jack off on all the shinny renditions.

Hey PG, why don't you go do some investigative reports on something like this instead:

Sure, whatever you say, bud. Just remember cocksuskers, I'm the one that spent 100s of hours in supplying you crazy fucks the information needed when these fuckers go AWOL.

BTW, DZ, the almighty vetter, is already gone.

Is it possible he is currently in Malaysia vetting Pilots?

Interesting Developments in the ASIC manufacturing marketplace.

Alpha t has had pre-orders for Scrypt based mining units going since January or so.  Price ~ €5950 for 25 MH units.

Today KnC comes out and says it's offering 100 MH units for 9995.00 US

Within hours Alpha publishes the following:

"We would like to assure you we are very aware of our competitors hash rates and pricing and intend to match them, we started development in May 2013 and are on schedule to ship in July giving us the clear lead. During development we decided to make our units larger and upgradable so we could accommodate increased hash rates with ease, we gave ourselves this leeway for a variety of reasons. And the announcement of Scrypt miners from competitors was of course one such reason that we anticipated and planned for. A full announcement with details on our new batch 1 hash rates will be released very soon!"

Sounds familiar ...

Quote
"Our pricing model is exactly on target for what we expected to come to market from competition. I would say, do not presume we did not plan for this"

https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702.msg146120#msg146120

Sounds like scrypt miner manufacturers are better planners than sha256  Grin

I can't get my refund from 25/02/2014. My order  #675, and i paid 100% at November 2013 at Bitcoin.  I can understand the delay in production, but can not understand why Black Arrow does not return money. Maybe they scammers?

Bitcoin Miners progress update – 21 March 2014

1. Global Foundries have finished the test wafers which were subsequently shipped to Amkor.
2. Amkor and VeriSilicon decided to redesign the substrate. This should be finished by tomorrow but there is no confirmation at the moment if a slight delay of few days will incur. As it stands we might still be able to keep on track for the tight schedule.
3. 5 case factories fitted our strict criteria and succeeded in making our shortlist. We will decide shortly which one(s) will be able to meet our high quality demands and meeting our aggressive deadlines. Payment was already made to cover the required samples.
4. We produced a prototype case for X1 which was made of steel. We are not planning to replace the original design but we came up with this as plan B in case in case the plastic mould won’t be finished on time for Batch1.
5. We have received the 1600 Watt PSU from Power-One, will test this week.
6. We have tested the hashboard sample and other PCBs we've produces so far in a laboratory environment. Despite the lab samples are not meeting all our design requirements to 100% we are happy to report that all perform properly. We are currently negotiating with our suppliers to increase the quality checks for producing much better quality boards.
7. We have tested the (under-spec) X1 hashboard PCBs and it can deliver 130Amperes. We were targeting 140Amperes but the problem appears to be in the coil not in the PCB. We’re getting new coils tomorrow for further testing. As a reference, VeriSilicon’s projected consumption is 100 Amperes in worst case scenario (high leakage) but we want to make sure that we can overclock the chip.
8. Finishing the boards takes longer than we’ve expected. For this reason we’re not sure if we have time to finish the 200Amperes board.
9. We have corrected several schematics and layout issues in the X1 hashboard and X1 backplane and started manufacturing the new samples
10. Following case review we have added a fan connector to the X3 hashboard. We haven't taped out the X3 hashboard yet as we will have to be sure that the X1 hashboard performs properly.
11. The control board boots Linux partially. There are some drivers missing or misconfigured and we need to fix some bugs in schematics. We're now reworking it to change the main connector and fix schematics bugs.
12. X3 backplane has not yet been finished due to modification of the control board.
13. We’ve started work on our Bitcoin/Litecoin pool.
14. We got the BTC refund document back from our solicitors. We are updating few legal and we should be able to release this as early as tomorrow.
15. BTC/LTC and PPC payment processor is now online, ready to process orders. Still making some cosmetic adjustments. It took longer than we’ve anticipated but we’re happy how it works.
16. Front End for the LTC chip is now stable. We’re starting the back end as soon as possible and we’re going to start pre-orders soon.
17. We’re looking into providing schematics as reference design for our ASIC in order to gather more interest from 3rd party manufacturers.

We manufacture Bitcoin ASICs and Bitcoin mining equipment.

16. Front End for the LTC chip is now stable. We’re starting the back end as soon as possible and we’re going to start pre-orders soon.

Where did the money come from for this development if compensation for batch 1 customers is maxed out?

No money for refunds.  No money for proper compensation, much hand-wringing over how this the absolute best they can do aaaaaaaaaaaaand.....................here's our new scrypt miner!  Getyer pre-orders in!

Using funds generated from pre-orders to develop new products while the customers that sent those funds in are taking a total bath, and BA is claiming they're absolutely maxed out,  is just the latest evidence that the level of importance given to customers is just above that of a cockroach scuttling across the office floor, and only because a cockroach doesn't carry a wallet.

Anyone that pre-orders anything more complex than a pizza from these people after watching this unfold has a fucking brain tumor.....

And they deleted every single one of my ~300 posts on this thread. But, what else would you expect from a Romanian Scum Bucket.
