i agree as the community already voted on this topic....there is no way anyone would destroy those Nxt....so let the other thread run where we determine the nominees for the funding committee.

There was a contributor to the nxtcrypto fund that Opticalcarrier fairly divided among us some time ago and I believe it was outside the scope of a contest. I also got a rather nice sum of 25,000 NXT at the very beginning. I do have the same expectation that you all have that NXT will increase and cover our investments of dollars and time. But the discussion about marketing and the comparatively low value that has been placed on it brings me to the place where I want to say a few words.
I really don't want to be a pain here. I just don't want to drop the ball and you all wonder why...

...Told you I didn't keep a close eye on the contests and bounties The last incoming donation I got was on January 16 for 1001 NXT. Vote closed on the 17th. I didn't get notified or get a payment (unless it was sent out early). Was there a prize?

the last resort is really dumb, even worse than sending back to genesis. With so many talents in Nxt community, Unable to reach a reasonable solution is ridiculous.

There are MANY good developers here who want to contribute to the Nxt ecosystem!


Why aren't we collecting ideas which could be turned to functional websites/services. For this we could reserve like 4M NXT. After we have about 10-15 project ideas we assign a bounty to each. Now everyone who comes forward and wants to do it, get the bounty.


Remember, if we have a GOOD product, we don't really need advertisements or marketing!



Also, what do you think about getting the funds from the unused NXT for the reddit campaign? We don't need much, but if we could get 50k NXT we would have many possibilities on reddit to advertise.

It's just that I think it's premature and personally I don't think it should even be a alternative. We all agree that we want NXT to grow, so why should we take away nutrients?
We could add any list of random options to that poll like "Let's have a big ass lottery" or "Let's give it to ethereum", it would do about as much ;P

I just see unfortunate side effects of this poll. I agree that when we don't get consensus (which I rather doubt) this may be a true last resort. That is two months from now.

guys I have an artist friend who wants to get into crypto, she wants to do her art for NXT! she does portraits, mixed media, and other painting stuff (yours truly is a total idiot regarding art here), But her work is really awesome, also she does tattoos, Whenever you are in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, The Philippines, you can get a custom tat for NXT!
