     Houston was destroyed in Game 3 as they were unable to get anything going offensively. The Rockets led by two with 4:04 to go in the opening quarter but gave up an 11-0 run the rest of the quarter to trail by nine. Houston never got closer than six the rest of the way and the Warriors put the boots to them in the fourth, outscoring the Rockets 38-18. The Warriors showed how dominant they can be when they are playing to potential. Houston should play better here but in the end, Golden State is atop the throne for a reason: look for them to prevail here again.

Heaney is a prime example: he has a decent enough ERA at 3.35 but he has caught a break as six of the 21 runs he’s allowed are unearned. Even with his numbers being what they are, he’s no match for Severino, who has been mowing down hitters left and right: his ERA is actually four-tenths of a run HIGHER than his FIP ERA projects for this point of the season based on his numbers. In a game with plenty of power, it’s Severino’s arm that is the difference as the Yankees prevail.

That’s part of being a young team but it is rather strange given that the Celtics led the East and were third in the league with 28 road wins. Cleveland knows that their backs are against the wall and James tends to deliver in these situations: look for him to carry the Cavaliers one more time to send this one back to Boston for Game 7.
