I also had confirmation today about who exactly sold the 7k DASH that was dumped yesterday, as I already knew it wasn't one of my MN buyers, but was someone who'd approached me a couple of days or three ago to see if I wanted to buy exactly that quantity or knew someone who did as they needed to make an exceptional one off sale for fiat needs, I said that I'd ask around and get back to them, but when they saw the BFX news come out they pussied out and panic sold, they weren't even really into crypto anyway so good riddance.
Aha, so trolling victims...

Not really followed the history of this coin much, but always wondered 1 thing. Why did this get renamed from Dark to Dash? I assumed Dash sounds more consumer friendly?

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Does livecoin require any sort of authentication? It seems to me, like you just open an account and start trading without any need to provide proof of address... or do you have to provide these things ?

I haven't registered so I don't know for sure, but scrolling through their legal mumbo jumbo I can't find anything related to verification. User agreement says nothing, only Privacy Policy has a hint: Information Collection And Use While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, postal address and phone number ("Personal Information"). Looks like only fiat trading requires personal data.

Darkcoin has a bad reputation thanks to being insta-mined. The renaming is an attempt to hide Dash's shameful past from new bagholders.

Also important: LiveCoin: Please note, withdrawals from the account in the amount of 500 USD, moderated by the Administrator of the system during business days (working hours: 9:00 - 22:00 (GMT+3))

Ok now it insta crashes when I type "setgenerate true".
Time to go to bed and try again next week? Yeah, let's do that. I obviously need to do some more testing. Thanks everyone! Best thing to do I guess. Please, confirm you won't be launching after some minutes/hours even if you fix it, and the sooner would be tomorrow, thanks. Definitely not. I'll also follow up with this post when I do set a time. "Definitely not." Welcome to Darkcoin/DASH. Built from the ground up on lies and deception.

[mod note: removed off-topic content]Edit to make this on-topic: INFO: for newcomers: old thread with 710 pages and almost 400k views got spammed so badly from trolls and fuddsters which at the end started insulting ICM (dev). So that Moderated thread was the only Option to stop that nonsense.
Can we please do this as well, Evan?

Can we please do this as well, Evan? Nah, i don't support that. All we need is show the interested people the way to dashtalk.org. Trolls are only giving bad image for the coins they support. Do you imagine someone interested in Monero after hearing the Icetroller nonsense talk here? Do you imagine yourself working or investing in a currency that support people with this toxic behaviour?
