Do you imagine someone interested in Monero after hearing the Icetroller nonsense talk here? Do you imagine yourself working or investing in a currency that support people with this toxic behaviour?
Yes, some week ago Otoh sold all of his xmr because icetroller couldn't stop his shit.
Otoh definitely wasn't the only one who sold his XMR a while ago. I have a lot of respect for the XMR dev team but apparently some XMR bagholders/supporters can't resist to constantly troll, bash, and show their hate towards other - also promising - projects. Call it weak hands but such behaviour really sickens me so a while ago I decided to sell all of it as well.

I wonder how long it takes before those trolls start to realise they're doing nothing but destroy their own coin, way to go..

I've always supported other coins as well and am currently invested heavily in several....but I've stayed out of XMR for the reason that many of their members are so toxic.  Im proud that DASH members seem to keep are far more professional demeanor then the XMR community in this regards.  Though I will say....there may very well be many great community members there, but they would seem to be the silent majority if so.  I would like to see their community members call out the toxic ones on their shameful behavior.

They are "silent minority" I guess. Smiley
I would like to see their reasonable community members to leave that destructive gang and join other productive communities (there are some other [positive] bytecoin's forks without dominant army of ugly trolls).

I did last time Smiley

Just wanted to state that XMRpromotions is in no way affliated with the core-team nor with the official social media accounts. Furthermore, I, as Monero supporter, certainly don't approve this kind of actions since they are kind of ridiculous. I personally wish that both sides would refrain from trolling eachother and just went to work on their own projects.

I also don't approve iCEBREAKER's behaviour over here, in my opinion he has made his point and stated his facts. No point in doing that over several times a week.

In addition there was luigi1111 helping TanteStefana2 understand Cryptonote. So not all of us are toxic and I think you guys are generalizing a bit too much.

Lets speculate for some time now as we are bored atm  Wink

What do you think about btc fail-breakout through ~300?
I think that btc have no longer steam power to push it through 300 again, thus it will fall at minor support at 245-250. I don't think it will hold for long and fall lower.
My exit plan is at 225 if the price happens to go there without any significant resistance and I'm going to leave crypto for some time. I will be waiting at ~130.
Though there is a chance that the price will bounce between 225 and 300 for few months and I will be watching closely if there will be any signs to break this period and skyrocket to higher levels.
If btc price falls, altcoins falls at higher speed. I hope that Dash will hold strong. But it's only a hope.

Any thoughts  Huh Roll Eyes

I believe that this September/October the stock market bubbles will start bursting, like what happened in 2007-2008. Expect this time to be much worse. People will see every paper currency lose value, I believe Bitcoin and all altcoins will have extremely explosive growth in September/October as people try to get money out of banks and buy food/water/commodites/Bitcoin etc.

Bad time to sell, 3K masternodes creating a solid base, V12 technology coming giving us the means to pursue any avenue of improvement we want, and creative ideas for income-generating services to be built on top of masternodes in the future.

A 1000 Dash investment now could set up your family for generations, no joke.

But go ahead, sell, I've got some more buy orders set up on BFX...  Grin

Bugs getting squashed on V12.....SOOOoooooo close to ready......
I feel bad I haven't been able to help with testing.  I think I'll donate more funds for development to make up. I've been lurking and am getting excited.  Thanks guys for all the hard work!

I don't think anyone has a real clue what would happen with the price. I sold all my BTC at $289.00 on July 29th and am very reluctant to go back. I also sold half of my DASH because I am scared of the short-term price movement while hopeful to be able to load up if the price of either BTC or DASH plunges.

DASH team / development seems as a project that has stamina (not to talk about the vision) to stay in this brutal game of changing the world of finance long term and to emerge as a winner, but with the world falling apart I have absolutely no clue will the upcoming stock market crisis result in crypto also crashing or not.

My overall feeling is that what's going on in the real world keeps the masses from anything new and abstract like crypto-currencies. I have clients all over the world and tried to introduce either DASH or BTC as a form of payment because costs of wire-transferring the money or PayPaling it makes a huge dent in our already thin margins but no one even wanted to consider my suggestion. And these were all IT people...

This does not bode well for a long-term prospects. In the nine months since I gather the data, a number of Dashtalk members rose from 1,853 on November 6th, 2014 to 3,160 today, August 10th, 2015. So, 1,307 people, or 130 per a month or roughly 4 - 5 people per a day are entering this sphere. The growth in this particular metric is flat-lined so the interest is not picking up despite really mind-blowing revolutionary advances Evan and the team are making.

We're still a lunatic fringe of a marginal movement that might not be a bad thing at all  Smiley but will the humanity, as fucked up as it seems to be, be able to grasp and embrace a whiff of freedom it is given is entirely beyond me.

Not victims no. I couldn't care less what nonsense comes from you guys. I just think that bigrcanada is either ignorant about the behavior of the Dash community or deliberately misrepresenting it. Either way I'm going to point out his error.
