I would like to recommend always use this kind of portal to let know the current situation of the network to make your transaction get confirmed quickly. Anyway now you have to wait for it until it get confirmed but next time be careful about this.

I know that, i always checking EGS sites before making transfer. But on yesterday case, is not because I am transfer with lower than EGS suggestion, but when I making a transfer minimum of gas price changed, then my tx stuck. Btw, thank you for suggestion.

Yes, I always follow the GWEI recommendations on ethgasstation and because of that my transaction get confirmed  very quickly (usually within the first minute)

Yes, I always follow the GWEI recommendations on ethgasstation and because of that my transaction get confirmed  very quickly (usually within the first minute)

I always used https://etherscan.io/gastracker and I had no problems, because regardless of the gas value is high, the ETH rates for me were always low, especially compared to BTC

It depends on how they'll implement it, if it'll reward even 1 ETH holders then everyone will be able to join if they want.
Unfortunately I think they plan to allow PoS only to the few top wallets.... in any case even now most ETH are going to the ones already rich enough to invest in expensive mining equipment.

But don't worry... judging by their past update speed, the PoS should be activated at about 2050!

I must admit that as a big holder of ADA, I'm kind of hating this news. In the past, Vitalik has failed many times in the past in respecting the deadlines (provided by him), will it happen again?

there is no certainty about this, but until now I think everything is on schedule. so just hope that this time Vitalik Keeps its promise. without ethereum 2.0, it's hard to make ethereum excited again.

Yeah without ethereum 2.0, eth can't go higher like last time and i am sure Vitalik working on something bigger that will make eth more excited.
More investors will come to eth after upgrade.

I don’t know what everyone is wearing in this ETH, there are already many other blockchains where you can create your tokens, where the transaction speed is higher. Well, if the POS is introduced only for the elite (whales), just definitely do not need ETH.

there are many other things that eth make special. one of them is eth blockchain is very easy to use relaible also. everything is not only depends on the speed. look at bitcoin its very slow to make a transaction and you can not make any token on that blockchain but its demand is great

When they officially rock, investors who sold at bottom range will do highly regret from their impatience and lack of confidence on altcoin season. I did same type of mistakes in the past, selling at bottom range, and buying at peaks.

It often takes months to set up bottoms, so if someone miss opportunities at bottom range, they will do have to wait for next several months to see such chances again.

According to https://ethgasstation.info/ the highest Transfer Fee is $1.32 and the lowest is $0.0886. It may not be so cheap to almost run free computing but developers need to come up with better ways to use smart contracts efficiently.

It has risen by 6% and going above $218 now. Just noticed it starting to make a move about two hours ago when it was pumping hard in price while bitcoin price stayed the same.

Bitpay support for Ethereum seems to be big news. I can’t say if it’s the stimulus for Ether increasing price, but it’s good news.
About Ethereum 2.0, there are a lot of expectation from Vitalik and his team on that, they wouldn’t want to not impress. I’ll say it might get go beyond deadline, but I’m pretty sure it would be a good effort.
