Will Ethereum be able to hold its own in a rapidly changing and competitive market that is innovating all the time?
Isn't that the design goal of Ethereum? Ethereum has the largest team, and philosophically they seem to be primarily concerned with making it cutting edge technology, not worrying about price. The goals of most of us investors are probably not very well aligned with the hardcore Ethereum developers goals. |

What is the reason behind the ETH has gone 8%down today and other coins also downside why Crypto market suddenly crashed happen is there any reason behind this. So this is the best time to buy ETH or I have to wait for some more time to buy.

Some are thinking that the BTC futures contracts that are due on Friday are the cause. Others the testimony Zuckerberg is giving to the USA Congress right now about Libra. Whatever the reason, it's industry wide not just Eth. Nothing has changed with Eth to my knowledge. |

Obviously since the Master Protocol has many of the same goals, I'm keeping an eye on this project.
Regardless of which technology stacks survive and/or thrive, I think we can all agree that the financial world is in for some major upheaval!

Bitcoin got hit hard on Oct 23, losing $500 in one hour. ETH suffered, too. But while BTC lost 8%, ETH is only down by 6%. We're sure that once the Brexit hype dies down, it'll recover.

When BTC goes down it is usually altcoins like ethereum will follow it and that is common in crypto when yesterday all altcoins dropped. Sure, i don't panic in this case because i often see the moment when altcoins goes down And i will take this opportunity to buy more ETH |

At this point it looking really strong coin after the BTC than no need to be worry surely they will bring interesting solution in future as they are working hard to make implement some changes in future. I think so current performance is showing this is truly amazing project. |

Nice to see ETH rise a little bit.
It will face serious competition from other following in its smart contract format and will lose ground to some IEOs but for now it is doing well.

Yes I've listened to some of the dev call on the YouTube channel. It seems that this time they are taking preparation at least in case they run into some unexpected bugs right before the fork and they can postpone it another month like they had to do last year. I remember that the fork was due in less than 2 days and some bug was found and they had to cancel the fork and lead to a lot of disappointment. For those wondering this fork doesn't have ProgPOW algo change, that might be issued in the fork right after this one sometime in 2020. |

I don't see any import at changes in the Istanbul update for us end-users, unless ofcourse I'm missing something.
So they're increasing the fees for "recalling data from the blockchain"... whatever that means (I hope it won't affect every little historic call).
They're also making some changes that make some kind of authentications by applications quicker.
No algorithm change.
Anything else that's important?

Lol, wants to make decentralized it as possible but adds something to make it centralized. Reversing transactions would put other businesses away and not to use the Ethereum platform. |
