Brighton have been the better side, and it's not even close if you ask me, but football isn't always fair, and it's not always who plays better than that gets to win the game, if that was the case here, Brighton might have been up by at least a goal or two, they did all the probing... Liverpool have just been able to convert their chances better, but if we see the performance from both teams as we saw in the first half, I'd be surprised if Liverpool get's to walk away with all 3 points here.

As i expected Brighton turned this match around and won the match 3-2. They deserved this win with how good they played and could have scored a lot more goals. Liverpool missed a lot of good chances especially Salah when he missed the tap in,clear open goal and i couldnt believe he missed that chance.

It definitely wasn't a surprising result in the end, and the bookies were actually right on this one at the end of the day...

This was some crazy match to say the least!

Before match started I looked at the lineup, and noticed two big changes in the back that had Virgil van Dijk missing and Trent who I thought will be playing that farewell match and the Reds would put up a solid show in dedication to the lads service for the team....but Slot had other plans I guess.
Otherwise it was a great performance from the team that is still in party mode and would care less on the result.

At this point I don't understand why Liverpool are stressing themselves to win games, they should have rested all first team players to give the academy boys a chance to prove themselves. I believe they would have gotten more performance from the 2nd and 3rd team players. Important players should be rested to avoid having them injured because if we're being honest Liverpool hasn't been themselves in the second half of this season and they need all their top players fit for next season. They started the season very well but half way, they began to drop form and this was what caused them the champions league final. Brighton though has to be given credited because they played well and deserved the win.

Maybe Liverpool wouldn't have lost the game if the title was on the line, but I think another valid question is that did Liverpool field a team that should have been capable of winning the match, and the answer to that imo, is yes, they did. which means props to Brighton for winning the game despite being down twice during the match.

The fact Liverpool haven't been themselves for most part of the 2nd half of the season is probably another reason why they're playing some of the guys to get their groove back, and as for Mo Salah, it's all about the record he's chasing right now.

ELO rankings show that 17 teams from Premier League are in the top 25 teams globally. Man United 25th best team in the world. Heh. It's an objective ranking too, so even if I find that hard to believe...

Huh 25th best team in the world? So who are the other 8 teams Bayern Munich, Leverkusen, Barca, Real Madrid, Napoli, Inter, Milan, PSG? I bet Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Villareal, and Porto, Benfica plus Copenhagen I bet even PSV Atalanta, plus would tell you this stat is wrong

Elo rankings are probably the most subjective ranking in football (and scientifically proven as the most accurate model to predict match outcomes). You get more points by your performance against similar or more quality teams, so if you only beat lower-strength teams, your Elo points don't go up so much.

Copenhagen and Gala may have beaten United once, but they probably didn't do too well on average against similar or better quality teams.

Just when I thought people play this game by checking bookie odds to make picks and to be proven wrong once gain is crazzzy.

How is it that 60% of the pool believe Liverpool will win this game, yet bookies had Brighton as favourites at odds of ~2.1

Spanish teams are slow and their best player is Antony - I haven't really seen much of their games this season, but we love playing European football finals and no injury concern so we should be winning this. I hate that I always lose to you every season.

Looking at how most picked the results for the Crystal Palace Vs Wolverhampton match, most went for the 2-1 score line..and for whatever reason when score was at 3-2..superbru still gave out the 1.5points for closeness for those that had 3-1,2-1..and then there is me with the 1-0 scoreline who was nowhere near, and needed that Palace goal and it came through. This Eze guy is one fire at the moment, man needs his flowers for that save

I keep having to look down below me, I can't even make any progress to 4th place, while 6th place is always breathing heavily down on me, I barely survived but youre right the last goals killed a lot of us and gave 6th place the yellow cap.

At this point I'll be happy to keep my position it looks hard enough to catch 4th, but 3-5 places are super tight and haven't changed in last 3 gameweeks.

I'll be expecting broken heart so anything more is a bonus!!

No, it's not that players are sorted alphabetically in the table if they have equal points.

Check the table of round 36.
In that round, babyshoes, Hoody_Hoo and I had equal points and Hoody_Hoo won the yellow cap prize.

It's even possible that muliple players win the yellow cap.
For example, in the round 30, mitchr4 and bullrunbro both won the yellow cap.

What exactly are they saving themselves from again? They're already used to losing I'm sure non of their fans are expecting a win at this point. I went through the same phase with Chelsea in January and March at some point I started placing money on our opponents ( easy money). Would rather cry with a purse full of money.

I'll say! First place takes home a fat purse, dwarfing any prize I've seen this year so far -- mainly thanks to Bitcoin's own place on the pinnacle. I said the same thing last season and went on to miss 5-8 rounds - I'm sure I got the highest wooden spoons this season. Missed some important rounds in the CL pool too. I'm too inconsistent.

I always say I'm happy to lose betting money if my team does well -- unfortunately I can't bring myself to bet against my own team. Would have been enjoying the cash pre-Klopp...

 I make sure I don't watch those games. I don't, just put money and wait for FT result. Cry and take money home as compensation.
