Terk, please stop mining NLG, you have been destroying this coin with no remorse, you were asked to stop, but you didn't. I don't give a damn about your obligation towards your customers, i care about NLG, and by the looks of it you don't care about the future of cryptocurrency, but only on making money.

I am not going to be nice with you Terk because other community members have done that without success. I don't know if you care about you ego, but you are not very popular at the NLG community, you probably just don't care(for now), but if the progress of NLG continues at this high rate, despite your effort to stop it, you will definitely regret what you are doing now because we will destroy you from the inside out in the media. For any users of clevermining reading this, just know that there are coins out there that Terk is destroying with your miners.

Our algorithm isn't broken, there is no coin with such a small hashrate that is resistant against the jumps you guys are doing on our coin. Instead of stopping the mining and giving us some space and time to fix the stability issue, you guys just don't care and continue mining!. This is a Dutch coin for Dutch people who are going to use the coin, not for a bunch of investors who instantaneously dump them for Bitcoin, STOP MINING NLG!

The only way the NLG community will accept you guys from mining our coin is if your hashrate is less that 5%, the last time i checked you guys had 75% of the total network, which is unacceptable. We are considering IP banning you guys if you don't lower your hashrate, when the new algorithm is implemented, maybe we will accept a small increase.

I read the NLG thread, there was a PM from Terk saying that he can deal with Digi (or KGW) in a civilized manner, and NLG's implementation is somehow broken. Are you saying he's wrong about that? Maybe you should discuss the actual technical details and look for solutions instead of throwing these unrealistic demands. You have to be able to deal with the massive amounts of hashrate produced by Scrypt ASICs without threatening to ban IPs.

If Terk can deal with this in a civilized manner, why doesn't he stop when asked!?, i don't understand why this is so difficult, just stop!!. we had the exact same difficulty readjustment algorithm as many other coins, which is not resistant against such big jumps, there is actually no scrypt difficulty readjustment algorithm out there in raw state that can handle these jumps. Geert Johan is one of the most talented developers out there, if there was an easy fix it wouldn't take 3 months to do this, besides, we are not the only coin having this problem. Put an extra 75% hashrate on the Litecoin network and see what happens!(nothing good). IP ban is the only way to make Terk to stop. You are always welcome to mine NLG, just not via clevermining!

Dear Meije,
As a Guldencoin member I can understand your frustration an sentiment, but I don't feel this is the right way to address this.
For sure we can all agree that Clevermining is causing a lot of harm to Guldencoin and that it is very desirable to have it stopped. This however doesn't necessarily mean Clevermining is guilty of deliberate assault. As I understand it Terk has been willing to work out solutions for us, but he also has a responsibility towards his miners. This is something we might not like, but I do respect that.
Maybe it is better if everyone that is expecting Terk to deliver the maximum profits on their mining scemes, to be educated about the damage it is doing to a really good and legitimate coin like NLG. And maybe if the miners would see what minimal profit comes from this, they might accept a little less profit knowing they are not raping a good coin.
Right now, the massive hashing power of Clevermining takes over 75% of all hashing on NLG. This results in a rape that lasts only a couple of minutes, leaving the network with extreme high Diff and therefor long transaction times. After the dedicated miners have worked very hard to grasp the last 25% of blocks in the remaining hours, Clever jumps back in when Diff is back to it's low figures again (for a couple of minutes).
Now I must agree that this is indeed a clever algorithm looking from the mining angle. But it doesn't give that much profit that it justifies risking to suck out the life of one of the most promising coins around.
So maybe I can ask this as a community member of NLG to the community members of Clevermining to agree to a temporary stop on mining NLG? Maybe Terk can join in on this and educate us on how this really will affect your profit margins? Maybe if you would understand it will only cost you 0.03% of your profit, its not so much to ask?
Kind regards,
LTEX

This is not the first time Ive heard of such problems, the thing is any coin must pass such tests. If you do get volume and popularity you would also draw more attention from negative elements who will do this on purpose. Even if you get lucky and everyone is nice and cooperative, it would happen accidentally as many pools hunt out the most profitable coins. As your coin is traded and difficulty is public this is just something will that occur. Maybe Terk could be labelled a bad guy but this is just a naturally occurring problem anyway, theres a few pools like this one
I hope you find a way past and your coin is successful

Try without specifying anything, i.e. vardiff - blades work well with it in my experience. If you have any issues try d=512 or d=1024.

If you're talking about the 10-minute chart - don't worry about it. It's too volatile to be of any use except maybe just to check if the miner is connecting to the pool. Look at the "24-hour Average" and let it run for a few days. Is this a Titan? Seems to be doing reasonably well.

hello, thanks for help with the diff. pretty new to this, but what is the WU standing for in cgminer ?
WU is Work Utility. I think it's supposed to show the number of Difficulty 1 shares submitted to the pool per minute, but I've seen that number quite broken in some cgminer forks, so not sure how reliable it is. Technically it should be a more accurate measure of your miner's perfomance than hashrate.
