The chart is totally wrong. The 5% increase is wrong. 49,000,000 + 5% does not get you 77,000,0000 - Nice try but the entire thing needs redone.
I agree the second half is messed up. Thanks. http://s28.postimg.org/3qsaspect/mint2.jpgHere is an updated chart, that is compounded approx every 20 days.

Proof-of-stake block generation could reduce the risk of 51% attacks for at least two reasons. First, the cost of acquiring 51% of all stake could in theory be much higher than the cost of acquiring 51% of all mining power, thus raising the cost of attack. Second, in a 51% stake attack the attacker's investment would be directly at risk of losing value. By contrast, with a 51% mining attack the attacker would still own the mining hardware which could either be sold or used to mine a different cryptocurrency following the attack. Is that right for mint?

Cryptsy thread? Too soon?
Ctyptsy is such shit. I would look at alternatives as I plan on not using it as much as I can avoid. Edit: I use Newaltex.com not huge volumes but deposits and withdraws go very quickly.

Ctyptsy is such shit. I would look at alternatives as I plan on not using it as much as I can avoid. The problem is that it's become somewhat of a benchmark, so even if people don't use cryptsy... if they see a coin there then they will see it as more legitimate. It will make the coin go up in value on other exchanges if it hits cryptsy.

Ctyptsy is such shit. I would look at alternatives as I plan on not using it as much as I can avoid. I've made 2 deposits the past days and both just got lost for some reason. Small deposits so there's nothing to worry about, but still. I don't trust that site.

Shhhh, stay quiet about this coin; lets not advertise too much the next week or so. Otherwise the mining difficulty will shoot up

It will make the coin go up in value on other exchanges if it hits cryptsy. The problem when coins hit cryptsy is often that people know about it in advance. And the coin therfor gets pumped before cryptsy, and when it is launched on cryptsy then people dumps it. But if a "unknown" coin goes on cryptsy without any pump beforehand, then I can only guess it would be positive.
