Just to organize this a little bit. So far reports come from following regions:
Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian, Ukrainian, Crimean (Russian/Ukrainian users located in Crimea), Cuba, Turkey
The question:
Does anyone from above countries had their issue resolved, or have unaffected/active bittrex account?
I'm trying to determine if this issue is strictly geographic. If there exist someone (or preferably group) of people from above regions, who still able to operate than probably what's happening is not related to geopolitics/regulations. If, however, all users in some regions are affected it would indicate regulatory-like attitude. Not trying to prove anything just assessing information.
Edit: Someone from Turkey have valid account.

So where will you trade now particularly for this coming fork? You need to make a move to make a good profit as well otherwise you will loose the opportunity.

So where will you trade now particularly for this coming fork? You need to make a move to make a good profit as well otherwise you will loose the opportunity. There are a few exchanges out there that will give the Bitcoin SegWit2x coin if you hold Bitcoin on there exchange. To hedge my bets I'm holding Bitcoin on two exchanges that have said they will give the forked coins, but not on Bittrex as they still have not given me my promised Bitcoin Gold. Binance: (they give accrued GAS if you hold NEO coin with them, other exchanges don't) Kucoin: (they give trading fee discounts, if you hold 1000 KCS coin. They also give you a percentage of trading fees - I think even if you don't hold KCS)

Ok so i managed to get my missing deposit ticket solved. Took me 2 days trying to get attention and they then credited the missing deposit. What is the problem on your account? Lets see if we can help you as a community.

Woah, I've been with Bittrex since last year. After I saw all these accounts being closed/locked/blocked/disabled without proper explanations - it's really worry me a lot here. Maybe, I need to keep my guard up and watching carefully about the progression inside Bittrex...

I think one of the Bittrex employees, the one called Julian tweeted something some days ago, asking for more time to resolve the issues. He basically, he named some Countries such as Iran and Syria as now being a problem for them. I believe it is to do with Bittrex partnering with this South Korean exchange that has triggered these issues.

I had no issues with my account, but when I heard the reports about accounts getting closed I got worried. And when I saw that this Bittrex guy on Twitter behaved like a dick, I moved my coins outta there as quickly as possible.
Just a wild guess, but if the affected accounts all belong to middle east-ish countries, it could mean this is some sort of measere against terrorism and how they finance their operations.
In any case, an xchange with bad communication and bad rumors is a red flad for me.

The only people who are not blocked from those countries, are accounts that has 0 or very small amount of balance. any significant amount of balance, and they are blocked, without any reasoning or support to make things worse, many of them had enhanced verification, and if you google for bittrex, near the end pages in result, you will see Ryan's reply to a ticket asked in 2016 specifically about one of the countries above and the reply clearly says that it's ok and people from that country can work on the website !

my dear friend, one of the things i look for in any money trading platform is customer support, in forex for example, the moment i get electricity cut, i can phone call support staff and ask them to "get me flat" in less than 20 seconds. provided we never saw this level of support in crypto yet, but not answering any ticket other than an auto replied one for near a month,.... THAT is a new record ! i am a user of tradingview website, it happened that in a single day i opened 3 tickets about using their script language for 3 different problems, a SINGLE support staff replied to all 3 of them in less than 2 hours, and the answer clearly showed that he had contacted their programming department and got the response, all of that in 2 hours for 3 TICKETS. how hard would it be to START answering tickets? if they did it by now, at least HALF of the people complaining would know what to do, and again, using an automated response is NOT called customer support!

even if that was the reason, blocking the access to the balance is not a PROPER way of handling things, we had seen issues like that on many different crypto exchanges, Poloniex, Bitfinex, and many other ones had issues with different countries (Bitfinex even had problem with USA people), but in NONE of them, the user got his/her account BLOCKED and they never had problem with ACCESSING THEIR MONEY. only thing they had to do was to remove their balance within a given time and for that purpose, those few people had full withdrawal access WITHOUT limitation to empty their balance. having issue with a country DOES NOT mean you have the rights to BLOCK ACCESS to a person's money and balance! I hope Richie and other staff are getting ready to pay for the consequences of blocking access to people's balance without orders from judges or governments, because, let's face it, we trade, we use stop losses, we move with market, when we don't have access to our balance, when we can't put any stop loss or any order, any profit loss, or any money loss, is considered a consequence FORCED by the bad support and wrong move from website, and those type of consequences, will be paid by them no matter what, and i assure you, there are people out there that are already seeking lawyers for this. i hope you are ready for such a thing Richie

30 days that my account is disabled, my capital loss more than 70% and no answer from bittrex who let them hold my money, its a heist in the day light in one statement after 13 days of disabling accounts, bittrex says there is only 0.001% of account effect disabled issue, but even dont try to explain why then i ask all wise men why bittrex dont mention why these account disabled if this is few as bittrex calmed why they dont answer them and trying to enable account, why no warning before do that why stop trading i mention that when i signup there ,they say i can withdraw 3 btc per day with basic verification then i send them my docs like passport and id and selfie ... then they promote my account to enhanced verified account and says i can withdraw 100 btc perday after i got ev proof i deposit my capital there one day i wake up and see they block my account with no resone in the first i try to contact support and they just reply me an robotic message that they will try solve the issue after that i realize that many people are engaged same issue this is very un-respect behavior to me who trust them i deposit 8.2 btc in first and now i have 2.6 btc because i bought alts and bittrex disabled my account and i cant sell alts in good time, and even i cant withdraw my own money after 1 month
if just me who this happen to him and you dont consider thousand people are effected this un-respect and pirate behavior i think any one must do more caution in face off bittrex i am sure bittrex will face off their karma one they

you do right thing but dont be simple man terrorism?!!! witch folly terrorism use exchange to transfer money, and with this few amount of capital?!!! there is some disabled account with 0.01,0.1 and someone fool like me deposit 8 btc that all of my money and it my hard work from years no man this is not related the topic you think, it just relate to greedy and they do it just because they can anyway beside this issue , you must consider that what support will do if some day any problem happen to your account for any reason, and what you can to do if they dont even answer you is there any guaranty that your capital is safe? do you know where is their company and is there any responsibility of them?

Bittrex legally located in Las Vegas, Nevada. However their corporate address points to some parking lot in a middle of nowhere. Their service is cloud based so you won't get any hint on how to meet with them unless you take legal actions. Even though this is fucked up, it's how all modern exchange operates to avoid angry people mobbing their HQ now and then. Sadly that also allows them to shady stuff similar to what they did to you.
