Can someone please tell me if they can get the wallet working on XP and how they did so, rather than say something rude about needing to get a new computer like that last person - which is absolutely useless advice to me.
Otherwise I am selling my stake since I cannot receive it.
I know this really doesn't help but I'm running the wallet (v0.8.6.2) on XP and I haven't had any problems. What is happening with yours? Has the wallet fully synced with the network (lower right hand corner, green check mark)?

I feel like as soon as the IPO coins go out today that will be the end of this coin. He has to have a market place going soon or there will be absolutely no pressure for the price to go up. If he does indeed have 70k worth of cards, he should pick a price and start selling them. He may not make lots but it will start the flow and get some buy pressure for this coin. In a few hours when we all get our coins, it is going to be dump city.

I unzipped the latest client, when I try to run it it gives an error message about the genesis block not being found and then forces me to close it. Nothing is generated in the AppData folder. I usually just unzip the wallet client (and other files with it) and it runs. First time I am having problems with a wallet on this computer.

So go to User/<yourname>/AppData/Roaming/GPUCoin and delete everything EXCEPT your wallet.dat. Then re-run the client. EDIT: The correct client is located in <directory>/GPUCoin. It is NOT GPUCWindowsQT. That's the old one and it won't work. You can also try a conf file, which should be in the same directory: rpcuser=<your username> rpcpassword=<your pass> rpcport=<I picked 6857> daemon=1 server=1 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 addnode=188.226.166.12 addnode=107.170.227.7 addnode=188.226.169.204 addnode=128.199.220.62 addnode=107.170.36.126
Please note that my conf file is setup in case I want to solo-mine, which is not really a great idea tbh. All you probably need are the addnode lines.

Less of the *sighs*. EDIT: Oh sorry! I didn't realise I was spamming the same shit advice for the third time! If you had read the goddamn instructions you were given the first time, you'd be up and running by now though! Can I ask how you will sell your stake when you can't even get the wallet working for your receive address? I'll buy the damn IPO from you for ...hmmm... 0.01 BTC! And I'll even throw in free tech support so you can transfer it to me. Rit.

Hmm this coin is no profitable for miners in the UK. Making about 2400 coins a day at current value is £1.26 About the same as the electric bill. Ooh well
