Wait, so all you guys are Croatians in the top few places? Haha! I wonder actually if we put all our leagues next to our names we can see who performs best. I'm in Asia of course where the football is plenty but quality is low. Most of us know even more about our foreign team than we do our own (I admit I'm one of that because I totally don't identify with my own team).

Is international football bigger than local scene in Croatia?

We are currently 1st, 2nd and 4th (which is actually drawing for 3rd).
Croatian football is not good, only Dinamo Zagreb and the national team are worth watching. But it does not stop us being fanatical about football

It's actually kind of funny - I follow Premier league much more than Champions league. I'm struggling there and am very well placed here.

What about this Parlay as these all are in good and can destroy opponents Liverpool PSG Atlanta and Spurs odds are good enough @20.5 these are demanding for small amount.

I doubt that you can win such parlay, these games are too tricky. Liverpool are favorites, but they will plsy away, so I'm not 100% sure about their win. P$G playing amazing in Ligue 1, but it doesn't mean much IMO, simply there isn't any team who can compete against them. And Borussia very rarely lose at home. And finally, Leipzig - Spurs pair is hardly predictable, there isn't clear favorite there.

Yeah. I think Liverpool are the better team but away in Europe is a different matter. Personally I think it'll be close and will probably go for the draw. That will be the game to watch though. I think Borussia Dortmund will win at home, but again it will be close and maybe only one goal in it. I'll probably go for all home wins with Atlanta and Spurs on the Wednesday games though.

Next weeks games are more interesting to me. Chelsea v Bayern and Madrid vs Man City. Both got draws in provisionally but I'll see how Chelsea do against United tonight as a Bayern win might be more likely.

I predict over 2.5 goals for psg and dortmund game, while atletico will get a win/draw against odd.

I went for goal lines in today's matches.

Dortmund and PSG should be a very good game with quite a few goals from both sides. I chose over 2.5 and both to score for this game. I really don't know who will win tonight. I had a 3:2 for PSG in our pool and just changed it to 3:2 for Dortmund I know this is the game I will be watching tonight.

In the other game I am expecting a very tactical match where Liverpool wouldn't mind 0:0 result. I chose under 2.5 on this game but half time draw or first half without goals also look very good. In the pool I predicted 1:0 for Liverpool but wouldn't be surprised if this game ends up being rather disappointing.

Feels like forever since this pool, but cryptofrka I'm like you I think. Fancy myself more knowledgeable in English top division but sitting at shitty 21 in THAT pool.

If Klopp plays like Klopp, he's going to again rest Bobby or Mane, in favour of Origi or Minamino or Ox, but I'm really hoping he just goes for the full-strength squad. I'm hoping there are NO draws tonight but it's the first leg so logic dictates safe play esp for the away teams. I do like my away goals though...

Anyway, Indymoney, yeah I went for 2 long parlays with most if not all the favourites (and the quality is so good the odds are incredible for anyone anyway), both including a Liverpool win which will be really really tough at Wanda but Sportsbet have a 5-leg that returns you a free bet and Stake a 4-leg promo bet returned if they fail only on 1 leg, so I thought, sounds to my tiny brain like good value. I have a 20+/1 and 16+/1 on them respectively.

Well it's obviously much more difficult to predict because these teams don't play each other twice a season and often teams have to go against different styles of play that the European leagues have. Travelling to different countries makes the away games even more difficult than usual as well I think. Maybe even climate plays a part. England is sure a lot colder than Spain especially right now  .

I think he would be unwise to play anything other than their full strength team and I can't see him resting players. I don't think this game will be easy for them. A draw is likely what I'm going for unless they do put out a weakened team.

I had 1-1 in but 1-2 is looking tempting or maybe even a 1-0 Liverpool win now. Liverpool seem to have their full strength team out and Atheltico are without Costa, though he is on the bench. Liverpool are by far the better team and Madrid haven't been playing great, but as above away in Europe is a big factor.

Guys you are right 71 minutes and Liverpool and PSG both trailing by 1 goal still have some time but now I am feeling these both matches are going to upset way as Liverpool is no shot on target in all match but still chance this match can go in draw way.

Great win by the Madrid people, and against the current holders, that was an excellent win but was the match good to watch? Could not find anything other than a highlight reel at the moment and it looked pretty boring since there was not even one save from the keeper! Hope they can keep the scoreline to the same in Anfield, then they have away goal and Liverpool must score 3!

No draws after all but I lost 4 parlays already, since they all went with Liverpool winning so that's some cash down the drain haha. Pity, as I backed Dortmund... Haaland just can't seem to not score in Europe (cept in 1 match vs Liverpool actually!) and he made the right move choosing BVB over United here!

Anyone else though Trent was off for huge portions of the game? Those first two crosses that went high and way, way off mark. I thought we were just a tad off the pace. Every time we took just a second longer, Atleti got back in a disciplined double line of four. Really needed to pass quicker or take more shots. But still, we lost rather well, all in all.

@leea If we play like we did on the night, we probably will concede 1, but I'm sure we'll score the goals we need. Anfield is a completely different affair, as many a team can testify.

I probably should give up on this pool. I seem to do really badly after doing well last season, but mainly because I followed the bookies in the last group stages. I think tonight we'll have a draw, and I really like Atalanta but Valencia will be annoyed they got knocked out of the cup comp so this is their chance here.

Good luck to you guys at the top. You seem to be doing so well. Only 1 guy Mbitr made 2 correct calls last night!
