I literally just changed my pick from a 2 - 1 in favour of Real Madrid to a 2 - 1 win for Liverpool in the pool, I hope I don't regret this, and hopefully the entertainment of the game will continue from where Bayern vs PSG stopped last night.

Previously, several times I changed the score like that but the result was always losing, whereas if I didn't change it, at least I still got points. So yes, good luck to you and I only made the initial choices 2-1 for Madrid's win and 2-2 for Dortmund-City. I don't expect an exact score for now, because result and close results are still important points in this tournament.

Man, we've been creating chance after chance, and Real's just relying on counters but we've not really tested Courtois, almost every shot going wide. Salah, Firmino, Gini even Jota. We really need a goal in the next 5-10 minutes for a grandstand finish but man are Real slowing the game down a lot. Can't bear to watch, it's just trickling away!

Liverpool were just overly wasteful! They had all the chances in the world to put the tie under their control but, they blew it and Salah was the major culprit if you'd ask me. He's touches were just so horrible, If Salah scored that first chances then the story could all have been different.

I still hold my first place in the pool and now mathematically, all I need to win is for @LTU_btc not to get the exact scores of all remaining 5 fixtures while I don't get up to 3 points from all.

It all started from the very first attack. It was probably the game's biggest chances but his shot was weak, a bit harder and it might have gone in between the legs. I don't blame him, though, it was instinctive and 2/3 times it would have snuck in but thereafter, everything went wide of goal.

5 more games left so yeah I don't see standings change very much unless someone picks a crazy score and it actually hits. GL to you all!

Real shame that didn't go in as it would have been a class goal and maybe changed the game. Didn't watch the City game as that was the one they didn't show on Dazn but I'm glad they went through as I need them to win the CL for the quadruple bet I put on at the beginning of the season  . Will be cheering on City in all competitions for the rest of the season now  . PL is in the bag and the domestic cups shouldn't be too much of an issue but the CL will obviously be the toughest and also the last game played (assuming they get to the final).

It was a much, much better performance from them than the first leg. I hate to say it but Klopp got it wrong that 1st leg 1st half. Couldn't create chances and when you don't, they punish you badly on the counter. And I know our defence isn't the best by any distance but they kept their nerves far better last night.

Milner's shot yeah, a couple of inches to the right and it would have counted, very classy indeed. Real's not as pacey as EPL so playing Milner made sense.

You did the 25/1 Sportsbet promo I saw being mentioned, didn't you? I didn't... but those are very, very good odds considering it's really just UCL that'll be a challenge.

Man city deserves every bit of their win tonight, after going behind early, they were an entirely different team in the 2nd half and PSG too, PSG literally allowed Man City all the possession they could afford without pressing and that was literally their own undoing, they should have kept pressing likely they did before the break and force City to mistake or misplaced passes and therefore hit them on the break like they'd want.

Good game though, hoping for a more interesting 2nd leg.

you seem to favour PSG. 3:1 wins are what they need to pass in the final, but ManCity is also dangerous and are not like some mediocre team from the French league. and he will be asked for his opinion.
A performance like PSG shows in the first half in the first game against Bayern and first half against City can bring them a positive result, but they must play all 90 minutes at the same level or it will be punished.
yet one early goal can give us a nice game and uncertainty to the end.

Just go for the goals market imo.  I’m pretty sure PSG will be going for goals, defense be damned.  They got nothing to lose now with City having a couple of away goals against them.

I got over 3 goals at 1.90, BTTS and over 2.5 goals at 1.80 and City to win the second half at 2.10.  The match could be something like 3 - 1, 3 - 2 or something crazy like 4 - 2, 5 - 2.

Edit:  Then again, since I made some bets.  It could be 1 - 0.

City scored, but that do not change much for PSG, they needed two goals for hope before this goal, they needed at least those two goals now as well
although, it does not seem that they will score those two

nevertheless, it will be interesting now, do not have favorite, it is easier to watch and just enjoy
have something small on PSG, but just to make it more interesting to watch

So far right on the nail, tokes. But as casper points out, nothing changes for PSG who still need to score 2 goals. I thought I'd be taking the over 10 corners but feeling good I didn't, even if 2 corners came in first half injury time, seems like a much tighter contest than the free-flowing one I was hoping for.

Can we hope for a better second half?

Is this game played on City stadium? Can't believe it is that cold in Manchester.

City finally managed to get to CL finals, had a perfect showing against PSG today. I am only sad that Mbappe was not able to play a part today, maybe we would have had a more interesting game then.

yeah, we are already wearing t-shirt and shorts, but it is obviously much colder in Manchester, last night was around 3-4 degrees during the match

nevertheless, City is in the final, and will have good chances to lift the trophy, no matter which opponent, Chelsea look easier on the paper, but their form is rather better than Real, so will be tight fight tonight, and good in the final, City should be favorite on bookies for the final, IMO, even if Real pass through (expect that, TBH), we will see

^  Yup...  I got Real going thru too.  But my bets are on the safe side:  Under 2/2.5 goals at 2.09 and half time draw at 2.15.  It’s going to be a really cagey match for the most part of 90 mins imho.

Then again I bet it, it should be a high scoring game now.

I am on both to score so we can agree it would be best that game finishes 1:1 and goes all the way to penalties

Real has to score at least one goal so I am expecting them to play their usual attacking style at least from half time. Chelsea was better team in first match and I expect they will again make several promising chances, it is just a question of how many misses will Werner produce today.
