Since you asked so nicely, let me oblige you with small parcel of my infinite wisdom 

Real-City - My gut tells me this one should be full of goals but I had same feeling last year and matches ended 0:0 and 1:0 so go figure. I am thinking bookies gave a bit too much credit too City squad and I see value in taking bets like Real win or Real not to lose. Most likely result for me in this game is draw with goals. I personally played both to score on one ticket and draw on the other.

Juve is clear favorite for me in other match. They should win this one either on class or experience. Odds around 2.10 are great value and I have Juve to win on all my tickets today.

Yeah. Pretty boring and uneventful match so far. I can see this being 0-0... or maybe City hold out for the first five or ten minutes of the second half then get pummelled by Real like Bayern did to Chelsea. Lyon are beating Juve in the other game as well. Real will probably win and then that will be another day with zero points for me.

Its really very stunning come back by City as they done very quickly now its all about city as they have crucial two away goals alaready in other match Lyon is also going with 1 - 0 win mean now Juventus also need to act some good at home like Liverpool for qualifying in next round.

Wow what a terrible terrible outing for me, I totally just could not pick a game in all four games and got zero points from it all. 4 points from the whole 1st leg of last 16,,, Mbitr and bigdaddy really scored well. Luckily I am still in 6th place but if I perform like this next leg, it will be over. Well done to whoever predicted Lyon. Juventus are really bad.

What was Carvajal doing taking out Sterling when the he was going nowhere and the ball was going out. And then Ramos doing what Ramos does and getting sent off. 26th red for Ramos whilst playing for Madrid. Good look them winning the away leg now.

Juve have got to come back from a 1-0 defeat as well but I don't think that should be too difficult at home for them.

I had 2:2 for that match and was quite hopeful to get exact score before Ramos got the red card. Real would have made a big pressure and City isn't exactly the most solid defense out there.

I was quite disappointing with the way Vinicius played, he had so many wrong decisions and small mistakes but managed to provide that excellent assist for Isco so I guess he did his part in the end. Isco is one of the best Real players under Zidane but for other coaches he usually doesn't even play or plays poorly. I guess he is a player which really needs full trust from his manager in order to produce quality performances.

Juve have got to come back from a 1-0 defeat as well but I don't think that should be too difficult at home for them.

Agree, Juve was really bad yesterday and they will probably put out much better performance in the reverse fixture while Lyon will probably not be able to play this good. Lyon is 7th team in La Liga at the moment and I have a feeling they would be much higher placed if they could pull out performances like yesterday ever single game.

I am a fan of Man United and it's obvious why I don't like Man City, but Barca and Real are the first on my "hate" list. Just because of his arrogance and his fans also. If they lose one or two games, all players go through hatred and humiliation.
After the Uefa ban, Man CIty going to be my favourite to win UCL this year. It will be nice. I am pretty sure that there are certainly a lot of irregularities in Real books, but they are somehow preserved.

Sorry I missed this. I don't use the quoting bot and am not really a forums person so a lot of times I catch up with topics a bit too late.

I went 1-1 and thought I had it in the bag before that crazy tackle. I am 1/8 in this round, I was never that bad in any predictor anywhere. If you gave me Indian league now I'd guess more so I'm currently a person whose opinions should be avoided

There were some crazy results in this round though - that has to be said.

Yeah, people keep falling for those tricks I don't understand. Sterling bring the ball to no man's land, let him go there. What's he gonna do? You think these guys know better. Real's captain has a knack for shooting his own team when they're down.

I didn't watch it so can't comment on the performance but I'm really surprised they lost. Can't imagine them making the same mistake again, but would be pretty huge if both Madrid and Juve went out in the reverse fixtures in March. Maybe even Liverpool and Barca if they don't turn it around.

Yup. Both him and the ball were going nowhere but out of play. At the most all Carvajal would have needed to do was stay by him and not do anything rash or stupid but what did he do? Gave a penalty away from almost certainly nothing.

Glad I was able to help  This way we are still on same points and I have good chance for that second position. It is much better when your fellow competitors make the same mistakes as you.

No idea what the formation is all about I think Pep parked the bus a bit at the first half.  Lol.  

Luck or not City got two goals at the Bernabeu.  And they were the better club out there anyway.  So you can't really count it all on just luck.  They played hard.

Which seems to set up quite a few draws I guess, if teams want to play that way. If I remember my noughties, UCL games used to dry up in goals as the stages progressed. Hasn't been that way to be honest, judging from the Liverpool games since 3 seasons ago, but I'm not exactly keeping tabs.

Don't forget the reverse fixtures start tomorrow. Can't say I'm bothered about any of the Tuesday games and think they'll be largely dull. I have gone for both 1-0 home wins but the Wednesday matches should be good ones. Liverpool will be feeling the heat and it's going to be vital that they don't concede and give Madrid an away goal. I think they should win at home but it'll be narrow. Probably go for 1-0 but hopefully they can get the job done and get a 2-0 or more to go through without the need for extra time and/or penalties.
