To be blunt, I'm not the most science minded member of the team, on the contrary, I'm just really learning now how important science is. Someone posted this yesterday and it got me to thinking which led me to research this idea. I'll report back when my research is complete which may take a while because every time I get to a new paragraph I need to use google to really understand what I'm reading.

And question...are there plans to make emc2 asic resistant like vertcoin?

what is being sold are the 375k EMC2 from the funding so it doesn't affect the market.  The developers have expressed that if assic becomes a threat they will implement something like N factor from vertcoin but for the moment to be more ecological they are using scrypt with kGW.

I'm sure as we evolve this will change but for now we'll just donate fiat and are looking to sell around 375K EMC2 off the market if possible.
