10K in 1 1/2Hr just before compared to 10K in 8 hours seems pretty fair to me even with the 3%, The reward is random with ECC I don't see why everyone is spreading FUD about cherry picking the higher Random Reward Blocks "It's Random" meaning anyone can get it hence the name Random, what is saying nobody is getting the higher Blocks & they just haven't been found yet...
I don't see how you could cherry pick them anyway, Hack, Mod, Bot pretty sure It's just Random.
No it isn't random once the previous block is found. That's how it is verified. If it were random, the block finder could make up whatever number he wanted and no one could tell he was lying.
The same problem existed in other coins. A lot of devs thought that it would make a coin more interesting or exciting if the reward seemed random, so they did essentially the same thing as ECC did, but they ran into the same problems as ECC has right now. That's why so many coins switched to having a constant reward about a month ago. They were being ripped off the same way as ECC is now.
But hey, if you are happy and don't want to bother checking, that's fine with me.
