Ipominer, I would like to know your opinion on future of Scrypt market. It looks like almost all the new coins are going to X11 and scrypt went dry. Is there any hope still?
A lot of new launches are X11 because it is asic resistant and more importantly saves electricity and runs very cool. So for the summer, there will be a lot of X11 coins.  I personally switch to X11 on warm days and run my rigs scrypt or scrypt-N on cold days to heat the house!  But the reality is that the big asics are out and only getting easier, cheaper, and faster. So if you want to compete in the scrypt coins, you really need asics, as they are cheaper to buy and run with greater hashrates.  If you have gpu rigs, you should stick with X11 or Scrypt-N in my opinion.  If you are looking into asics, you can't beat GAW miners prices and support.  They also have some promo coupons that can be used with the link below.

$5 off orders over $100: 5off100
$20 off orders over $250: 20off250
3% off orders over $2000: 3off2000
4% off orders over $5000: 4off5000

There is nothing wrong on ASICs. X11 is buggy and step back in my view.

And you stop promoting commercial product, besides my 3-weeks old machine can beat this one in price, support and ofcoz delivery time.

Yes don't mine DRK at ipominer because since nobody is mining and the difficulty is almost 10K, it will take 6 months to find a block.

Mine the hottest new coins at ipoMiner.com

maxocoin, There seems to be a bug with daily payment at the moment. You can use a threshold or withdraw manually. Being below the "minimum" is fine, you just pay the transaction fee. Is there a specific coin you're having trouble with being below the minimum on? We're happy to lower the minimum for no-fee withdrawals if they are set unreasonably high for a specific coin's block rewards.

Mine the hottest new coins at ipoMiner.com!

I've got a few questions:

1. Do you support auto-exchanging whatever coins are mined to BTC? If yes, at what fee?

2. Do you think it is viable to mine at your multipool with a single 3770K? Any experience on this?

3. For a single i7, would you recommend scrypt or X11? X11 should yield more, shouldn't it?

I like the idea of mining new coins very much. Most multipools seem to be a bit slow in this regard.

@IPOMiner: FYI Bitstar (BITS) POW has ended. You should shut down that port so that the few miners on it will failover to their alternate pools, otherwise they are just wasting electricity.

i'm not ipominer admin, but i can answer your questions anyway.
1. no, there is no such Feature.
2. a "weak" gpu should mine at a pool. you can try to mine a coin without a pool but i guess you won't be lucky because difficulty in almost all coins, even if they are new released, shoots up so that mining on your own makes no sense.
3. im not really sure about that, but i thought that scrypt as well as x11 is for gpu (and fpga + asic) mining only

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

Thanks for your reply.

Well I've CPU mined scrypt coins quite profitably for a while at a pool. I could save some time if the multipool searches for fresh coins and does the calculations, that was my intention here in the first place.

But since I'd had to do the BTC trades myself I think I'm gonna save the 3% fee and just mine at 0% single pools as I did before..

If you're CPU mining then have a look at Cryptonote coins like Monero (says me who setup a pool that would like some more miners Wink ) - in fact you can mine them whilst still mining something else with your GPU.

The 3% fee at IPOminer covers the cost of someone else doing the research, so in theory if you stick to the multiport you'll get in on decent coin launches. Been a shortage of those recently though.

Of course it could be a cunning double-bluff by Mastiff coin trying to get more credibility? Not sure I'm believing that myself mind you. How about "IPOminer solves lack of worthwhile IPOs by creating one"?

Mastiff must have had a very fair launch  Grin
with pool owner switching every X11 machine to his own coin  Grin (and obviously the pool owner didn't have to wait to get the source and compile it)
Next move a botnet owner releasing a cpu only coin... might have already happened though (slimcoin it is called) Grin
