I like the new additions, Also, x13 XHC HonorCoin 2.0 had a smooth launch, payouts start at 720, currently 342 Edit: 386 (Its kinda slow cause rewards are literally 0 until 720. Shoulda been .1 to get more interest but it is a fair launch at least)

https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=645946.0

I remember it being quite profitable, POW this time is 2 years instead of 3 days! (ヅ

No, refresh the page Smiley We're just adding a new X13 coin: HonorCoin v2.0 (XHC). It is available for mining on direct port 3720.

Note that block rewards on it don't start until block 720, as Jerubbaal75 mentioned - it is currently at block 519.

I can't seem to make the darkcash payout happen.  It is over my threshold and that didn't cause a payout so I tried manual and that didn't do it either.

DRKC payouts were blocked by a transaction that was too small for the wallet to process - as you already noted, it was fixed earlier.

We added I/O Coin today on X11 direct port 3618. EDIT: I/O Coin is having some network/fork problems, so we've disabled the port until that can be resolved by its developers.

Yes, we're up to date on all the "fake hash exploits" (which are really mostly caused by pools setting incorrect diff1 settings).

Hey everyone,  the good people at IPOminer have given their approval to let you all know on their thread about a project soon to launch.  Check out our thread below.  (comments and feed back welcome)

https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=712629.msg8059225#msg8059225

Our goal is to bring a higher level of value to the coins we all mine, and trade.  With good pool operators like IPOminer we think there is enough momentum moving crypto into the main stream.  Its our hope this project will help accelerate that evolution and we hope you guys all are tuned in while your mining and trading once it has launched.

Thanks again IPOminer for allowing us to post this info on your thread

Sure x11 multiport USB coin is worth mining with 2300 Mhash? 11 hours 05 minutes without any block?  I redirected my x11 traffic manually to "IPOminer: Jul 27 4:00 AM We added a new X11 coin today, I/O Coin (IOC) on direct port 3618."
https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=707450.0 => "USB Coin is pure POS now, mining is no longer possible." and some latter posts say Bittrex disabled USBcoin market. Checked Bittrex, seems working, just Last/Bid data wrong (0.00000031 instead of 0.00000081), cant test it - all my USB sold earlier with near max price Smiley

Best,
Jayfek, overheating, +32C and rising...

IOC says disabled on the home page where it lists the direct port but I see a lot of hashrate on it.  Are people mining this successfully since the multi isn't moving off of USB?

Yes, the PoW period on USB ended - the multiport has been switched off of it. IOC was re-enabled after the issues with it forking were fixed by their developers last night.

Looks like Elite and USB were both scams and possibly concealcoin as well.  What does this do to the potential of this place?  I agree that many new coins are most profitable at their launch but I don't really want to be involved in mining coins that are full on scams designed to profit the devs at the expense of everyone else.  Thoughts?

The only thing that makes it possible to earn higher rewards in altcoins than in other industries is the higher risk involved. If there were zero scams, there would be very minimal profit potential. If you're familiar with pink sheets, I view altcoins very similarly - except they have even higher risk/reward potential. You can make literally thousands of percent in profit, or you can also lose 99.9999%, on any given coin in very short amounts of time.

The only real solution on an individual level is to diversify. I've described this as my own personal strategy many times here, but I'll repeat it for those who may have missed it previously: Don't put all your hope/money/hashrate into one coin. Sell some of your position in a coin whenever you can realize some profit to cover your expenses. Try to discipline yourself to stagger any buys and sells - perhaps ~10-30% at a time. You won't get the absolute maximum return on any given coin, but you should be able to increase your average profit and reduce losses by following that strategy.
