I'm playing around and trying to improve my futures trading skills on BetFury. Even though the results are in the red, it's ok because it's money i can afford to lose. I hope to one day share screenshots where I'm positive on most positions.

You're very brave to share this. I've tried to learn about futures but haven't ventured into trading. But seeing you post your results is a good incentive for me, as a player and trading experiencer, to dare to do it.

I need to work on my psychology, trading is not just about skill, it's also about being in a good psychological state (the same applies to gambling).

Gambling means you are betting at unfavorable odds.  So even with a perfect mindset you still should lose and only play for fun (small amounts)


Trading does not mean that. with a perfect mindset you would be able to have a better chance at winning since you could study and detect coin trends better than the average trader.

The only 'gambling' game this is true is power as if you have the best mindset of the players in your poker game you will likely end up the winning more often than not.

yeah, but i don't use vpn on betfury, my country is not restricted, my ISP doesn't block gambling, and the strange part, after trying a bunch of things to fix it, i found that if i just spam F5, it goes away after a few refreshes.
so i really have no idea what exactly is causing this. is it a network problem? a cache problem? or maybe both?

That sounds very weird to be honest. I have no idea what is causing it since it's happening to you randomly but when I see it, I know it's because of my VPN. Have you tried accessing Betfury in an incognito window? You can test that the next time you see the black screen. Open an incognito window and load the website in it to see if that changes anything.

I use almost the same browsers except Safari, with more preference towards Firefox for computer and DuckDuckGo for mobile.
I heard about Brave browser but never tried it or heard about its token rewards. Some browsers could make some distortion on websites especially on mobile. I don't know how things are going with Brave but I prefer to have ads blocked the whole time, without blocking websites functionalities. For me BetFury run smoothly in these browsers.

Brave browser is quite impressive but from the list above just like you firefox will be the my main choice with the second choice being a browser that seems to be quite rarely used namely mullvad, this browser will completely block all ads without doing any settings because that is my experience so far but like tor browser the display will be smaller compared to using other browsers as well as mullvad.

There are always people who try to throw shit on successful businesses. It's one thing for someone who has had a problem with the casino, which is a normal thing that happens from time to time, to raise it in a reasoned way so that it can be solved, but this guy should not be paid any attention to.

I prefer to use stable coins for betting and the reason for this is that altcoins lose value in themselves and it is risky to hold or gamble with altcoins. Bitcoin is too expensive and I prefer to hold it rather than risk it on gambling. This leaves me with stablecoins for betting and spending purpose.

I didn't specify well, but I'm not talking about games of probability that depend exclusively on luck, but about skill-based games like poker, blackjack, etc. After all, someday I should try this type of game, I just need some feedback to encourage me hehehe.

Bitcoin goes up = the entire market (95%) goes up with it.

Bitcoin goes down = the entire market (95%) goes down with it.

Bitcoin dominance goes up = don't trade altcoins.

It depends on what you mean by short-term trading. If we are talking about short-term trading of futures with huge leverage on exchanges or futures that are presented on the Betfury site, then yes, it's more like gambling.
However, for example, scalping is also a type of short-term trading, but I wouldn't say that it's gambling, especially if a trader follows a clear strategy and observes risk management. In other words, if a trader understands patterns, he will be able to predict the price movement of an asset with high probability even in the short term. It's clear that there are also risks, but they're controllable if risk management is followed.

The odds for short term trading are better. All casinos  have a built-in advantage, known as the house edge, which ensures they make a profit over time. They just sets odds in favor of the house.

There aren't such rules like house-edge when trading. But it is way more tedious and playing games and seeing the results in seconds.
