Two seasons ago Arsenal performed well and always got second place in the standings with Man City dominating. And this season when Man City was down, they did not take advantage of it well. Instead,d it is a great opportunity for Liverpool to lead now.
Next season Arsenal may have to make changes to improve their performance and also their level of consistency throughout the season. If Man City next season returns to its good form, coupled with Liverpool it will certainly be difficult for Arsenal to compete.

Manchester City is not playing well this season which is why Arsenal played very well matches and got good position which give them a good win. It was a loss for them because they had a good chance to win the match and collect their points to strengthen themselves but it definitely hurt Manchester City's performance which benefited Arsenal a little bit but they should have taken full advantage of it.  It is a better opportunity if they take full advantage of it otherwise Manchester City and other teams will not give it. If they play strong, they won't need anything if they play defensively and work hard and change their style of play. Arsenal are a strong and hardworking team, they need to strengthen themselves and improve their position. Given the same, I think Manchester City will make a comeback, which should be enough interest next season.

However other teams have analyzed their strategies and came more prepared to face the champion. Mikel Arteta I think should try and sign a world class striker in the summer so he won't be finishing as league runners-up again come next season. Arsenal fans deserves to see their club lift the UEFA Champions League trophy after 21 years of waiting. Hopefully they do better next season as I think this season title is beyond their reach already.

I believe Pep Guardiola knows how difficult it was for his team to have gotten the record of winning the league 4 consecutive times that's why he could make such utterance, EPL is one of the most difficult league in the world but Pep Guardiola set the record together with his boys, right now I still don't see any team who can repeat what Manchester City has done that is the more reason Pep Guardiola needs to be given more time to bring back the performance of his team and to lead them to winning more trophies. Manchester City can bounce back next season but they need to change their strategy and bring in more players to challenge for the league next season.

They are already on verge of collapse due to players getting old and not doing fine, and without UCL, they are going to miss so much money too, and if they fail to do all of this, they could end up with not recovering with new players too, and if they lose Pep on top of that, they may never be as dominant as they used to be. We have seen so many teams with money that failed, so City could become just another rich club with no success.
