Even if Liverpool played horrible, they got the win, and they got it at away game too. Which means that they have a chance to win at home and get to next stage, hell they could even get a tie and that would still see them to quarter finals as well.

When you are playing against a good club like PSG, playing park the bus system isn't really that bad and we should be considering how Liverpool just wanted to make sure they knew what they were doing and nothing more, and they are doing a good job of that. I am sure that we are not going to end up with anything crazy here, we are going to see them have a better result for good because park the bus did it's trick on the first game. Not like they need to win that game, even a tie would have been fine.

Today Manchester United are playing away against Real Sociedad in the Europa League. And only 3 days later they are going to host Arsenal in the PL. It's quite a tight schedule for them. 

Arsenal have more days to rest and get ready for the match. While Manchester United are already having hard days the players will be tired more as well.

What do you think on this matchup at the weekend?    I think Arsenal won't lose. They can actually win after watching how they destroyed PSV.

Arsenal don't even need to prepare for such a match, against an obvious outsider. Or rather, as much as possible, without overloading the players, just to maintain their current form, there is hardly any doubt that Arsenal can lose this match. They have not lost their stability, so there is nothing to worry about. Meanwhile, looking at MU, I'm not even sure they can get a draw against Real Sociedad, I think there's a good chance of them losing the match, even if it's a draw.

Liverpool played really horrible last night despite the 1-0 win. However this shouldn't be misleading because clearly Arne Slot didn't want to play all his cards.  

In two days, I'm confident that we will watch a completely different Liverpool. A much stronger one. Southampton is a really weak opponent and they will probably hope for not losing with another historical score.    The season is already theoretically over in terms of championship but still nothing is official yet. Therefore I won't expect any complacency from Liverpool until declaring it officially. Arne Slot already has 2 more years on his contract but this incredible season will secure his seat even more than ever.

This is exactly what a UCL winning team does in some matches. Not all will be beautiful football and endless goals. I think people take so long to notice that are sometimes Call it Luck. Just watch all Real Madrid's recent UCL trophy winning seasons. You will notice that at times the possession was bad, the attack wasn't so good, but the defence and keeper did a good job. In the UCL at a certain point, you will have to rely on your keeper's Brilliance and that's what Liverpool did yesterday.

When Guardiola said that he doesn't believe that anyone in the Premier League will be able to repeat City's achievement in the coming seasons, I think that he wasn't bragging, but simply assessing the situation adequately. And in my opinion, it's not that important, I still consider Guardiola one of the best coaches of our time, who knows how to build a team and win tournaments, so I'm sure that if you give him enough time, he will become champions with City again.

He is right. I don't think any team in the Premier League will be able to replicate Manchester City's recent achievements in the coming seasons. Pep Guardiola remains one of the best coaches in the world and with the right backing from the City's board, he has a strong chance of restoring Manchester City as champions again. If they continue to invest wisely in key areas while maintaining their high standards they could remain the top team to in English football for a long time.

Seriously. Guardiola has done a lot for Manchester City, and as you said before, we see any team that can achieve what Manchester City has achieved so far. There is a lot to see; currently, Manchester City is facing a bad performance, and I feel like this is a normal thing that can happen to any team regardless of how they are. There must be a season that they will experience bad times, and that is what is happening to Manchester City right now. I believe Manchester City will be back stronger; it's just time.

Nottingham Forest have so much at stake when they face Manchester City next, they have come a long way this season so I expect even if they will go down it wouldn’t happen without a fight. Manchester City should expect a tough game when they face Nottingham Forest. It’s an all or nothing game for Nottingham Forest because Chelsea have an 85% winning probability when they face Leicester City.

Nottingham Forest, who were at the bottom of the table last year and narrowly escaped relegation, are playing exceptionally well this year. Of course, I think they can give Manchester City a hard time, but to tell the truth, Manchester City will beat them. The wind can turn at some point and until the wind does, this fairy tale will continue for Nottingham. Watching their success this year is truly a wonderful feeling. I am happier when I see teams that have no claim to the Premier League succeed.

This is a huge step up on the side of Nottingham Forest this season, I clearly wouldn’t have expected such performance level but somewhere they have managed to pull off a shocking display and have been able to maintain top four spot this season. When they face Manchester City in the weekend it will be an exciting and thrilling match because both sides will make it hard for either side to get all three points. 

This Saturday is such a big day for Northern Forest facing Manchester City is one game that has been much fearedly expected and for sure with the current level of record in favor of Northern Forest this season and from a few games back, I think Manchester City should be prepared to face one of their strongest opposition for this season, and considering Manchester City current status, it glaring that Northern Forest will be on a highly motivated spirit and attempting to make use of any given opportunity.

Lots of exciting games this weekend. Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City fixture will surely be an interesting one. Nottingham forest has been impressive this season putting together a series of strong performances, however, despite Manchester City's occasional struggles, I don't think Nottingham Forest can be able to win City. Manchester City remains a top side with exceptional squad depth and world class players and given their quality I expect them to come away with all three points.

As for the Manchester United vs Arsenal clash, Arsenal are the favourites for a straight win. Manchester United's inconsistency makes it difficult to see them upsetting Arsenal regardless of where the match is played.

No matter how they play, the important thing is that the final result is still satisfying. Arne Slot really understands the condition of his team and the quality of the opponents they face, in my opinion he has done his best by implementing a defensive strategy and occasionally making quick counterattacks when he gets the chance.
Btw, I was very impressed with Allison's struggle, as Liverpool's last wall of defense, he managed to frustrate PSG players.

Even Luis Enrique considers this match unfair to the club. Liverpool proved that football is not only about offense or playing beautifully like they did before, the most important thing is how to win on opponent home with full of supporter. I think in the next match, Liverpool probably won't use the same strategy because it has been understood by PSG. Becker did very well as a doorstop last night. he was struggling to save goalkeepers and come as a great hero for that match. This situation may be different when playing on Anfield next. Well, it’s obviously an EPL team’s performance being discussed but, the shift is a little way out I would say.

Anyway, the over all performance for Liverpool in the international league was way below expectation. Not like I expected them to beat PSG which they eventually did with the Darwin and Harvey Elliott’s team rescue but then, you’ve got to wonder what’s the strategy Slot is really using.

Is he leveraging on what Klopp left behind or is there some strategy in play because, it wasn’t working well with PSG and if not for hard luck, PSG had several chances to number the scoreboard.

it was as if Arne Slot got into a tutorial session with Jose Mourinho concerning parking the bus before meeting PSG yesterday, we don't know Liverpool for such strategy, they're a team that plays the high press and attack a lot, mostly. I was suprised seeing them parking the bus against another attacking minded team, anyways it paid off, their performance and strategy they used doesn't matter what matters most is that they got the desired result which is securing the three points. Anyways it was a frustrating game for PSG and I totally understand Enrique's annoyance yesterday, it's very sad to be putting much effort, doing better than the opponent and not getting the desired result, Liverpool might have won but judging from the performance PSG deserved to win, they had much more chances than Liverpool, 27 shots with about 10 on target without any goal is enough to trigger the rage of any coach, however what matters most is finding the back of the net and that's what Liverpool did, all thanks to Elliott.

I mean we are talking about Mourinho here, he is the master of park the bus, there is nobody in the world that knows this better than Mourinho, so while this was a good game of park the bus by Arne, we can't say that he is that good at it, he doesn't normally play like this and that is why we can't say that he is good at it. He just had a game of park the bus because it was an away game, and he knew that if he could just end the game 0-0 that day, then he would have a bigger chance doing better at home game.

Liverpool got lucky though, it is not really that bad of a situation at the moment and we can't really deal with any of this for too long, I can't really see this changing because Arne will play attacking football again.

What crossed my mind when Man United was going to play Arsenal was that this match was too tough, unbalanced and even unfair for Man United to play. We know that Arsenal seems to be merciless and if they manage to show their maximum performance then Man United are in big trouble. In my opinion until the end of the season Man United will not be able to break into the top 10.

The biggest game of the week seems to be Manchester United - Arsenal. 



Arsenal have been quite dominant against them in the league for a while. They won their last 4 head-to-heads. However we shouldn't forget Manchester United eliminated them from the FA Cup this season.    Manchester United are still struggling though. One day they win in another they lose points. Their unstable look prevents me from believing in them here. On the other hand Arsenal got a really huge win over PSV last night. They really surprised me for a team that didn't even score any goal in their last 2 Premier League games.

Considering all of this, I see Arsenal one step ahead here of course. But instead of making a bet on a side, I'm going to try out BTTS @2.00.

Evaluating both teams performance so far since they last met, Arsenal has been the better side, even though they something struggle to score goals and draw games that they ought to win. Manchester United has been totally awful, even in little games. Their win against Ipswich was a narrow one, though it was well deserved considering the red card disadvantage.

Even if Arsenal has failed to score in their premier league games, they will still have a good odd against United. I agree with the odd though, but I won't be surprised is something different happens. Arsenal can be very disappointing sometimes. Good luck to both sides.

Arsenal football team has excellent players who will give excellent effort in this match. Arsenal football team stats is wonderful in the table.  Arsenal team has 54 points on the table and Manchester United football team has very low position on the table and that team points are only 33 on the table and that team had 14 position on the table. Arsenal football team performance is not wonderful because that team could not win most of the matches because that team won only 2 matches out of 5 matches and that team lost 2 matches out of 5 matches and 1 match was lost by that team.Manchester United football team could win only 1 match out of 5 matches and two matches ended with draw result and 2 matches lost by that team.

Last year Arsenal won at Old Trafford. Back in the day, Manchester United weren't very different than now. They are even worse now in fact.    This is why I don't believe in them even a bit.

But there is one condition... If you noticed Arsenal couldn't score in the league for a couple of matches. If they perform similar to that then maybe there might be a chance for Amorim's side. However as a note, Arsenal demolished PSV in the Champions League so we are likely to watch a different Arsenal in this one.    I wouldn't like to be in Amorim's place. The poor guy has such a difficult work to do. The task of resurrecting Manchester United is really challenging. I miss Alex Ferguson times.

There is nothing to expect from Manchester United this season, they have indeed performed very badly, even the number of defeats they have experienced is more than the number of victories they have achieved. In 27 matches in the EPL, Manchester United have only managed to record 9 wins, 6 draws, and 12 losses. Likewise with the goal difference they have recorded this season, they have only managed to record 33 goals and conceded 39 goals.

And facing Arsenal in week 28, Arsenal is currently in very good condition, where in yesterday's match Arsenal impressively defeated PSV with a big score of 7-1 in the UCL. So in my opinion Arsenal will only be a nightmare for Amorin and the team, and most likely Man United will again swallow the bitter pill of defeat.

Meanwhile, regarding Liverpool, their performance has been unstoppable in gaining points, they are really in a safe position to relax at the top of the standings.

Man United is safe and they wont be relegated im sure of that. The gap between them and Ipswich is just to large. They should focus on europe league and try and reach the champions league by winning that. For them i think this season is over in the premier league they cannot go up or down.

Manchester United is one of the football clubs with the most fans in the world but this season their ranking is very sad.

I really want the old Manchester United where they fought to the max and were full of calculations.

I don't know how long the crisis faced by Manchester United will last, hopefully this season they will win the Europa League so they can advance to the Champions League next season and at least save the team's finances.
