Tottenham Hotspur has started the season with a clean sheet against Burnley after scoring an outstanding 3 goals. From the start of the game to its finish, Tottenham Hotspur controlled the game and I can say that they really deserve the win. Burnley faught all through but the rate of offsides recorded is not encouraging. Burnley's defence is not so bad as Kyle Walker is having a positive influence on the defence. Richalison is good and getting two goals for himself was brilliant. The game was not against speculators expectation. Maybe Burnley would use this game to look up their flaws and improve in their coming games.

Tottenham had a fantastic day today with Richarlison's world classic second goal, which added to the 3:0 defeat on Burnley. Whose attacking force wasn't strong to take by surprise the fluctuating defensive game of the Spurs, unfortunately, the finisher wasn't there for Burnley to secure a single goal. Tottenham has a strong game play this season, and took every opportunity they saw in today's game.

IMO, Spurs victory wasn't worth over-praising, and if you watched the match between the two teams, you'd surely be bored. Spurs dominated the match without a fight against Burnley. Burnley, on the other hand, are a mediocre team that has always struggled to stay in the EPL and lacks the ability to compete with other teams. The difference is clearly evident in Spurs superior squad depth and superior statistics. So, in this early match of the season, Spurs certainly deserved the win, as they faced only a weak opponent.

First few games of the day gave off that vibe of very boring games to come after Villa drew with NewCastle 0-0, then the next two games were 0-0 at the half and thought this was going to be the order of the day but good to see that goals finally came..

Westham losing today is no surprise after some key players were sold but let's not take away the work Sunderland has put in...

The 0-0 draw of Villa with Newcastle was something snooze especially when Villa went down to 10 men after Konsa got a red card. Despite of having all the chances Newcastle somehow didn't manage to finish, and Bizot, the goal keeper of Villa, is worth mentioning for his outstanding performance. The 2-0 win of Sunderland over West Ham came as a surprise and which no doubt is a big statement for them. The 3-0 win of Tottenham over Burnley was much predictable, with Richarlison's brace adding a remarkable touch to it. Big statement short, an interesting start to the season.

The match was so interest and beyond my imagination. I was thinking that Liverpool will be a big flop this season following the tragedy that befell them. It was a good start for the Reds and I'm glad to see their hitman Mohamed Salah scoring the winning goal. Although it was a poor one for them when Anoine Semenyo scored his double to level the match but Liverpool were able to quickly correct the mistake from the 88th and ended the match in 4-2 win which is a good way to start the season.

Liverpool is not looking like a team that is ready to take any chances this season though they still feel pains as you can see the way Mo Salah was crying while appreciating the fans at the end of the match but looking at their form they aren't flopping any time soon with the squad they have in the team.
When the game become 2:2, Liverpool was still pushing attack to ensure that they win the game and finally they scored two more goals, from the performance of Liverpool having Isak in the team this season will make them become unstoppable.

It was a brilliant goal from Sallah to give Liverpool their first victory this season. Initially, it was like their visitors wanted to share point with them and that wouldn't have been a good start for Liverpool this season. However, Sallah as usual was able to come to Liverpool aid at the dying minutes of the match to scored the winning goal.

Tijji adds another goal. It's crazy to see how City slowly, but surely building back their club. Yeah, i was surprised they conceded goal first, but happy it's ruled out by the referee due to the offside. They lead two goals at this time and i'm sure they will add more. We may be seeing Haaland or Tijji to do hatrick soon. I hope it.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is naturally feeling a sense of inferiority complex after their recent defeat in the Super Cup final but we saw that they managed to make a very good start to their Premier League campaign against newly promoted Burnley Football Team. The Brazilian player produced the most eye-catching performance from the current UEFA Europa League winners in this Premier League match. Maybe many didn't see this player make an impact in the previous season but he has started the new season with great initiative and this player may well apply his Premier League experience to his national team. So it can be said that today's PL match against Burnley was essentially the start of the Thomas Frank era for the Hotspur team once again.

Yeah, i saw that Newcastle got some big chances, but missed it just because they have no good end product. Their end product problem could be fixed if Isak was there, but he's gone. No doubt their fans are callin him like a rat. I guess so much hates will come to Isak very soon.

Newcastle truly had a problem capitalizing against their shots on goal and the absence of Isak did create more work when it came to finishing off plays. Things were not made easier by the cramped defense Villa hosted. Newcastle also had the numerical advantage but did not look cohesive and there was little creator in the third in the final. The fans are annoyed, as they wanted to see more domination but then again that is football sometimes, you may control the game but fail to get the outcome. Hopefully Newcastle can work out their accuracy and chemistry, as they obviously have the talent to be doing better.

After Wolves sold their good players, I have no idea with their current players, there's a player with nationally Zimbabwe and Haiti, I wonder how the scouters can get those players.

Their dominance was evident, especially when Aston Villa played with 10 men, but in the end, it didn't change anything because Newcastle's finishing was truly poor in this match. 16 shots and only 3 on target highlight how lacking their finishing was in this match, and Howe seems to need to come up with a solution while the Isak issue remains unresolved.

In another match, Manchester City are already leading by two goals, and Tijani has already scored his debut goal in an official match.
This is clearly a good start for Manchester City, especially since their issue last season was the poor build-up of attacks, with the supply of balls to Haaland not being good. However, for this match, it seems that Pep is determined to change that, and we've already seen two goals, so it's not impossible that the score will increase in the second half.

I definitely agree with you any team that doesn't have a technical sound Manager will always suffer and struggle no matter the money that is spent in buying players the players in United are actually world class players but the problem has always been a good manager to bring out the Best in them

Yes, i think there is no one who neglects the importance of the coach  in any team. This is the only coach who grabs the inner skills and talent of the players who really knows how to utilise their talent in the favour of the team. Because if the team does not have a good coach then no matter how much they are spending on the well being of the team it will not work. The example of Manchester United is really helpful to ensure the importance of a good coach. They had the players they had the sources and they had a friendly budget but one thing which they don't  have is a reliable coach who helps them to chase the success. If you do not have a good coach then other things are worthless no matter if you bring the world class players to your team.  Because a coach has the ability to destroy or the success of the team.

Now Manchester city and Liverpool has gotten all three points by winning their games with Chelsea left to play tomorrow against crystal palace, a game I presume to not be any easy one for the blues. But the biggest first game of the, Arsenal vs Manchester United am not sure where the 3 points will be heading to but it's like Arsenal are kinda favourite.

I wasn't expecting a different result aside what we have seen from city so far, it is obvious that Manchester city will perform very well this season, I know some person will say that it is very early to conclude on that, yea that true but making conclusion when it has to do with some teams aren't bad,with their performance so far, I think they came prepared this season, this season will likely be very competitive among the big teams, am glad to see this guy's play this way, last season was a kind of boring with bad performance from Manchester city at the mid season before the pick up a bit towards the end of last season, am happy they are back very strong, congratulations to them in this match, leta see what they got next.

Manchester City played an easy match, because it was like a work over game for them. Wolves is too weak to withstand the pressure from Manchester City attackers and Wolve players lack the quality to put themselves back in the game. Their attacking force is weak. I expected the match to be won by Manchester city, am sure Manchester city won’t want what happened to them last season to repeat itself, they won’t be joking with any match which they are playing right now, and they going to do everything possible to win most of the weak teams which they will be playing. Manchester city signed some players which they believe will improve the teams performance, and Pep Guardiola will do everything possible to win the premier league title this season, since he messed up last season.

Honestly, this performance was what I expected but Burnley has finished the EFL Championship in a good position by taking second place so there was some confusion that they might put Tottenham Hotspur under pressure. And even I thought Burnley would score at least one goal and keep the match evenly contested but they failed miserably in their striking.

Moreover, they were also behind in terms of keeping the ball in this match. Anyway, I thought that Richarlison would score a hat-trick in this match, but the last goal was scored by Johnson.
