Yes it was a difficult game Liverpool today after all dominance and possession they won't have being able to bag the complete point if not the little mistake made by Hannibal the Burnley player trying to clear the ball in the 18 yard that lead to a penalty, it won't have ended in favour of Liverpool. The game indeed was never an easy one for Burnley because they where possessed without any atom of relief noticed in the Liverpool in as much as the game was concerns but had what it takes to stop all advance in there yard. With Burnley's playing pattern I think they will go are long way this season.

Agreed. I placed my bet on Liverpool win, but Burnley kept me on the edge of my seat until nearly the end of the match. It wasn’t until Lesley Ugochukwu's red card that I had any hope, which was finally realized almost at the end of injury time. I can't say what the problem is right now. Manchester United has struggled far too long and I think there could be something more to this. How can Ruben Amorim come from winning his last 11 games in Sporting to winning only about 8 league games in the last 10 months. Sometimes ago Peter Drury once said that match is like Monthly period, they win only once in a month. Manchester city still humiliated Manchester United again with such 3 : 0 margin. I don't know why everyone thought that Manchester United could win the game before the kickoff. Manchester city loosing form does not also imply they can loose to Manchester United in their home soil, at least not in this period.

I was one of those people that thought Manchester United could win Man City, the reason why I was thinking that Manchester United can win Manchester City was because of their failure I was thinking they will pick up in order to make their fans happy but that did not happen instead they lost in a shameful way, I'm not happy with Manchester United and right now I really don't know what their problem is however I still believe Manchester United need a very good coach someone like pep guardiola a coach that is very skill and knowledgeable.
Ruben Amorim has done his best he's not looking as if Manchester United is cursed because I really don't know what is happening any player that comes to Manchester United don't perform well anymore with all the quality players Manchester United bought I was thinking that this season they will be on fire and they will deliver very well but that did not happen I want to ask again what is really the problem of Manchester United why can't they pick up.

It's certainly a mystery, with so many changes they've made, but none of them have been able to bring back Man United's glory, so I think the problem that Man United is facing is indeed serious and perhaps the solution must be to pull it out from the root, which means not only replacing the coach and players, but the owner and management must really be overhauled. We all know that the Glazers are not real football lovers, but he is involved because of the big money they can make from it.

That's obviously a tough choice and probably will never happen, as the Glazers would clearly be unwilling to lose their source of income, and even Sheikh Jassim once made a fairly large offer to the Glazers, but they rejected it outright.

You are right. Manchester City only just took advantage of the poor performance of Manchester United, with Manchester City defeating Manchester United in today's game. I don't think it is something special or a welcome back to the performance we used to know.

Manchester United have been really struggling for a long time and haven't recovered even this season, so it is possible for Manchester City to outshine Manchester United. Even if Manchester City's performance is not what it used to be, there are still some teams they are better than, but it won't be easy for them to challenge the top teams.

Manchester city on their own are also struggling, before the match, Manchester United were better than Manchester city on the league table. City ain't good that's for sure. Their performance in the first half was really nothing to be happy about. The team were really struggling. I really thought the match was going to end in a draw, but Manchester United was very poor. City next opponent is Arsenal a proper team, let's see how city will fare when they face Arsenal next weekend.

Man city is maxing out big time... 2 goals in 35 minutes and still counting! Foden had a good opening into today's game, and it has been as easy as samba since then. I can only imagine how frustrated man united fans will be tonight. We all know they can do anything if their team losses, and tonight isn't going to be an exception.

Well for Chelsea, I think it's celebration throughout as one of their biggest rivalry in the premier League has lost woefully. A good game and a perfect counter performance from Pep Guardiola, let's hope for something better!

Honestly this is the best performance I have seen from Manchester United in a long while and even if they did not do well in terms of the score line I think they can be proud of how they worked hard and see if that can build on that and do better.
Manchester City are on their way to getting back to the form we have always knew they had, Erling did not only show he is a proper striker he also showed great defensive skills in the beginning of the first second half.

I agree with you, Manchester united had a good ball control, tactical movement than Manchester city, it's just unfortunate that united couldn't score, unlike before when Manchester city will be doing the winning and also keeping the the pressure on their opponent. 

However, I don't think city are back to winning ways yet, they still have a weak possession against their opponent, that superbite and classic way of play isn't there yet, yes they won United but they are not in that form they used to, given the way they play, I believe they will still be struggling with winning even in their next game.

The chelsea match ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw, all chelsea fans are furious with this draw, I bet the players are not happy too. Most chelsea fan but this on  their coach Enzo Maresca as he bench almost half of the first team players, well this because they will be traveling to Munich in the coming days. Chelsea conceded in the first half, Enzo maresca adjusted to his mistakes and brought in the first team players and instantly the game changed. Cole Palmer as always got a good goal and Moises caicedo scored a screamer, chelsea thought the game was over as they were stunned in stoppage time with a long throw which Calvalho benefited from. A point apiece for both side. It was a good game and now we anticipate the Manchester derby tomorrow.

I would also be furious if I was a chelsea supporter because Chelsea are world champions and they ought to play as such but they are struggling in the premier league this season even with the outrageous amount they have spent in the summer to recruit players ti their team. For a team are world champions they need to be winning these games.

This is the best performance you've seen in a long while? I might have been missing out on their games and only read the scorelines/watched highlights after the matches were over, but if you say this, it means the team was at its lowest..

I knew United stood no chance against City; even though everyone thought Pep wasn't on form to do too much, but that man comes aboard whenever he figures what the program is, and he did! Infact, you're right -- they were supposed to conceive even more goals than they did. Amorim needs to go back to the drawing board!

It was because of the poor performance of the former coach Erik Ten Hag made the management to brought Ruben Amorim and since when this coach came Manchester United performance has been on the worst side. On my own observation, the main problem of this club has not be identified by the management.
Some of the fans are agitating that the club should be sold off or let the club be scrapped to form new beginning.

So as it stands now, I will not look down on Manchester city like a weak side till after ten games, because this was how they have performed in the early stage of the season but they still come back and win the league title from the graps of arsenal, so right now, I still sees them as a title contenders, but if they can't accumulate up to 20 points in the next 10 games, that's when I will be ruling them out from the title race, not now that almost all teams are still struggling to find their form.

I have always been saying this that the current Manchester United squad is good and able to compete in this season's English Premier League. If Manchester United continue to struggle this way we should all agree that it is the mentality and the formation of the coach that is causing the inconsistency. It will be better for Manchester United to dismiss Amorim before it is too late to do so, that man is so stubborn.
I have watched him so many times during interviews and the pre-match and postmatch reviews and the guy does not want to take anybody'anybody's suggestion and he has refused to acknowledge that English Premier League is quite higher from where he was coming from. Because you performed well in the Sporting Lisbon does not mean that you are able to face the English Premier League challenges. If you add to succeed in the English Premier League, you need to be dynamic and be also willing to accept criticism and suggestions.

It's common for teams to go through periods of transition, and City's recent signings could be a key factor in their potential resurgence.

I think you acknowledge that City's current form isn't terrible, but it's not up to their usual standards from a few years ago, pulse there's a noticeable difference in the team's performance compared to their dominant years optimistic about the team's potential with the new signings from the summer transfer window, i also believe it will take time for the new players to integrate and elevate the team's performance.

I said before that the manager of the losing side of the Manchester derby will be in trouble. After the 3-0 defeat, speculation about the possibility of Amorim getting sacked soon are mounting in the media. Apparently the club still have some patience left, despite the worst start of the season in 33 years.
Looks like the "Alex Ferguson curse" might be real. After departure of Ferguson, United can't find a manager that would set the team right. Everyone fail the task, to the point that it's starting to look like United would just have to accept the faith of being a mediocre Premier League team and forget about the top.
Even if they decide to replace Amorim with someone else, I have doubts if they will be able to get any of the top names signing up the contract.

As for Man City, good performance defensively, United struggled to create any real danger, despite dominating slightly in ball posession and the total number of shots on goal. That's a big win for Guardiola and his team after 2 straight losses to Tottenham and Brighton. They are going to need the confidence ahead of the games against Napoli and then Arsenal.

They have tried to put more belief and time to latest head coaches from Solskajer, Ten Hag and now perhaps Ruben Amorim but results so far are not good. Time flies fast and Bruno Fernandez from a biggest hope in Solskajer era now already is an old player and his time in Old Trafford is counting down. Ruben Amorim has to build up Manchester United squad with new players and this will bring Manchester United to a new uncertain era. With their performances so far, I don't know how long Ruben Amorim will be the head coach there as if he can not improve results in coming match, there is high probability of a bad ending for him in the club.

How they beat Manchester City big in a latest Manchester derby match shows big difference in quality between two Manchester clubs. I also agree that we don't have combative midfielders who cam fight cover grass around the pitch. It's time to be ruthless with thier incoming and let players like Casemiro and Ugarte leave. Bruno Fernandez is also not discipline enough defensively, it's time to take him close to goal against Chelsea!

Well, I think they should give him till the end of season, after then if nothing improves then it normal to sack him, sometimes I just begin to wonder if he was the one actually doing well at sporting or it was the system thhayvwas good already at sporting. At Manchester United we are not even seeing a glimpse of how is team was working at sporting, well after he makes a few signing in January and nothing improves then he should be sacked.

It always the managers fault, I bet you a new manager would walk in into this Manchester United and still use this same team to challenge for top 6. There are quality players in Manchester United it just the way he set them up, they don’t even look motivated. I believe most players are finding this formation very hard. The most important thing in football is getting results, and that’ is what is mostly important, nobody will criticize your performance when you’re winning, but fans and pundits will criticize you when you’re loosing games, there are new players in the teams, and the players are trying to adapt to each other, what I really love about this Liverpool team is their mentality to keep going and pushing until the very last minutes, Liverpool are playing like a true champion that they are, when the game is going badly and it’s hard you’ll have to find a way to win games, and that’s what Liverpool are doing, but I know Liverpool will improve with their performance once the team clicks with the new players completely adapted, But I’m surprised people are saying Liverpool aren’t having a good performance but Arsenal that’s is their closest rivals couldn’t beat them, I’m impressed with Liverpool performance and right now we’re yet to see Alexander Isak, If it was Arsenal they would’ve lost or draw this games that Liverpool keep winning late minutes because they don’t have that winning mentality. Even with Amorim, Manchester United still can't climb out of their slump. Even after the arrival of Sesko and other top players. Yes, the tactical system implemented by Amorim hasn't worked that well, or perhaps it's simply not effective enough for Manchester United.

When I watched Manchester United's first match against Arsenal this season, I was impressed by the way Manchester United played against Arsenal, and I believed Manchester United's performance had improved and they would win more of their matches this season, but i am surprised that Manchester United is still struggling in the premier league this season. Despite Manchester United playing against Manchester City on their home soil, Manchester United was supposed to earn a point against Manchester City because Manchester City weren't at their best, but it clear to me now that any team struggling in the premier league, once they meet Manchester United, the team will pick form.
