While there is an opener like the derby of Manchester, Arsenal are going to be playing away against Forest in the evening of the same day...

What do you think? Will the gap between Manchester City and Arsenal get wider? My personal opinion is no, it won't.

I don't doubt Arsenal. Forest are still a team in trouble. And I believe Guardiola will also be victorious against Carrick. The Red Devils once again have to deal with a manager change.

This is a Manchester derby, but I still believe Manchester City will beat Manchester United this weekend, I don’t think the gap between Arsenal will be more wider this weekend, but let’s see what happens, perhaps we will see a surprise result. Manchester City cannot afford to drop any points, Manchester City have zero win in their last three Premier League matches, maybe they will finally win against Manchester United after three draws in a row.

However, Arsenal should be able to beat Nottingham Forest, they have just one win in their last five matches in all competitions. Despite that Arsenal usually struggle to beat them at home, this is another opportunity for them to maintain their lead with Manchester City, if they make any mistakes, like draw or lose any game, they will lose their chances at the top.

The team of Manchester City  was very weak And they could not do any goal in this match which was very poor effort by players of that team and their defense system was not good in this match. The head to head performance of both teams was looking good because both teams played 5 matches and 2 matches won by each team but there was no competition in this match and Manchester United team easily won this match . Mbeumo was a person who did first goal of the match and he did this goal at the 65 minutes of the match and he gave start of the match and Dorgu was a person who did second goal of the match and that was at 76 minutes. Manchester City  team to learn many lessons from that match.

Carrick knows what to do in big matches seemingly. But today's Manchester City was really something else... They had high percentage ball possession but couldn't benefit from it even a bit.

Guardiola couldn't find a solution to create more goal chances. And now what the hell is Arsenal doing? Just get the score already! Forest shouldn't be the team to stop you from increasing the gap to 9 points with Manchester City.

Many people would say it was a coincidence, but it wasn't actually. The Manchester Derby of today really proved that Michael Carrick knows what he is doing and he has a formula. I have always been an advocate of using the product of Manchester United as a coach. A legend of the club will always know and protect the club's ideology rather than a stranger.

He came out successfully, it wasn't a coincidence. He has something he is doing well.

I also did not expect that this could happen to Manchester City, a score of 2-0 without any response from Guardiola's troops, even as you thought that there was something wrong with Manchester City and they really lost their motivation, or maybe because the new Manchester United coach gave Manchester City a surprise match, there was something that Carrick showed and knew.

A couple of big teams played in the league today, we saw both Manchester teams taking on each other, we saw Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all in action today. Well it been a busy day and some results in the league today moved a lot of eye brows.

The Manchester derby was the early kickoff, we saw Manchester United trashing their fellow city rivals 3-0. Well it was an unexpected result, because no one expected Manchester United keeping a clean sheet today. With the defeat today pep Guadiola have now failed to pick 9 points since the new year. Well if Arsenal can later find a way to win their match today I think they might be cruising towards winning the premier league.

Chelsea new boss managed his first premier league game today and it was good to see him beating brentford at home 2-0. This was a game chelsea well controlled, they played well and even got their goals, Joao Pedro and cole Palmer were both on the score sheet. The last time Chelsea kept a clean sheet before today was in November when they beat Everton 2-0 at home.

Arsenal are still playing a goalless draw away from home, they barely have much time left to play, let see if they can come up with a win or they will hold on to the draw.

I am not at all surprised by Manchester City's defeat, if you follow Manchester United you see such unexpected results regularly. They can win tough games, but easy games are very difficult for them. I see the same threat for Arsenal, but when they face Fulham they may not be as terrible. I will not blame City in the Manchester City vs Manchester United match, but that is the nature of United.

The match was at United's home ground, United dominated City so much at home that City did not have a chance to react. They could not take a single shot on target to score.

Even under Amorim, United was showing some fight in big games like against Liverpool. I don’t know if it will last but it’s great to see Manchester United playing like this in a derby again. It might be a long shot given the management chaos but i really hope things work out and we can build a long term, successful era with Carrick.

Whenever Manchester United are playing against a big team for some reasons they always give it their best, it makes me wonder if they lose their matches against smaller teams on purpose or they don't put in their concentration to the game. This isn't the first time that united are beating Manchester City being in anm disorganised form. They really need to learn how to build consistency in their performance

I will be lying if for a minute it came across my mind that Manchester united stood a hlchance against Manchester city in the match that just ended. I never expected it to happen this win, I was even expecting the reverse of the score but Manchester united were thinking of another thing. It was almost three goals if the last one wasn't cancelled by VAR

All of us are as surprised as you are because no one will believe that Manchester United will beat Manchester City by clean 2 goals. It is supposed to be something of excitement to Arsenal fans unfortunately, Arsenal drew and their match against Nottingham Forest. Didn't expect Manchester United to beat Manchester City tonight at home, because in fact the predictions that are more talked about are that City will win, now Manchester City are considered clowns with 4 matches never winning. 

I praise Carrick as a new coach who showed progress tonight against his rival team won by the host, many fans are happy with this result especially can bring Manchester United even better.

Arsenal is making this title race difficult for them and am surprise they couldn't beat Nottingham forest. The thoughts of Arsenal failure causes me headache because it wasn't what I expected from the gunners. I can't believe they could mess up this opportunity of widening the point gaps,just look at how today opportunity was ruined. It seem a surprising thing but it’s not surprising to me. Because everyone knows that Nottingham are good in the defense game and again is away games they really has they where able to put passion and lead the game to a draw, if you can remember their first leg when they play at the Emirates look how Arsenal performance goes it was very amazing; i think if I could remember Arsenal defeated them 3-0.

Arsenal where supposed to win the match, but unfortunately it was not happened I don’t see it as a disappointed outcome for them, has they try all  their best to make sure they win so that it can lifted their points and have big points gap against Manchester City; it’s well that’s all about football it’s unpredictable.

I was really surprised I never expected this performance from Manchester United. They scored two goals with no response from Manchester City. During the interview Pep Guardiola also admitted how great Manchester United performed today. Honestly before the match I predicted that Manchester City would win because I thought Manchester United would struggle under their new coach in a derby game like this because players would find it difficult to adapt in a big game like this.

The match that pains me today is Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest. Their fans were overjoyed when Manchester City lost to Manchester United, thinking it would be an opportunity for Arsenal to win and create more points gap, but they ended up playing a draw. This was their mistake in previous seasons that made them fail to lift the premier league trophy.

It wasn’t easily, seeing how long it took Manchester United to net a goal that the VAR didn’t rule out. Manchester United had at least 3 goals ruled out including the goal from Mount which would have being talked about very much given how shot his being on the pitch after coming on as a substitute.
Manchester United was at their very best and deserved to take home this win but, this is football, it’s not about the best in team ratings but, whose better in the pitch and that today was Manchester United.

Hadn't they had played like this since the start of the season, maybe they would have also been contesting for the league title. But I can't still use 1 game to judge them, we need to see their results in next upcoming 5 games. It was a shocking win. In my opinion, it’s too early to say if Carrick is going to better than his predecessors.
As for Pep Guardiola, I don’t know what’s going on with Manchester City, first, they drew with Chelsea and now Manchester United. Too bad Arsenal couldn’t take advantage of this losses to extend their lead on the table.

Football is something that you can't accurately predict very well who will imagine that Manchester United will easily be at city at home considering the present situation that they find themselves. Manchester United really surprised many because hopes were really down and not much people gave them any chance to win. The players really stepped up their performance in this game.


Michael Carricks has shown himself to be a very good coach in this few matches that he has managed as interim manager . But for pep and his boys I don't know what is the problem with Manchester City this season dropping points so easily they are playing to the advantage of Arsenal with the way that they are going.
