Arsenal is still leading the premier League with some points Arsenal still has a big chance of winning the league, yes they were not in their best performance against Manchester United but that doesn't make them tolose out on the league title. The biggest of teams even lose and we saw that play out in the German Bundesliga were Bayern munich lost to a small team. Arsenal still remain the favorite to win the league.


What you have to know about this win by Manchester United over Arsenal is that Manchester United is having a change when it comes to their management so everything is expected to change and that includes the way that they play. Since the changing of their coach there has been a significant improvements in the Manchester United setup and it has translated to this types of wins.

From what I can get from ur analogy, I get the point that due to changes in the Man United management, they seem to be really unpredictable, that's a weapon I feel they used well to the fullest felt like Arteta didn't have enough information to review before going into match and that really affect them. But one thing just despise about losing with a complete squad is that it exposes your inadequacy to  top teams to take advantage off, unless Arteta will evaluate there exposed weakness and find the a solution to it or they may be doomed.

This was just an incredible win by Manchester United! While expecting for a good fight but loss for them the outcome was surprising for everyone!

Arsenal aren't Manchester City in the end. They played better than them against Carrick's players too but it was still not enough. I can't imagine Arteta's frustration.

Under Amorim they looked confused, hesitant, they looked like they were always thinking about positioning, not playing. Now Mainoo's back in the team, Bruno's higher up and suddenly everything makes sense again. Sometimes football is really that simple and the coaches over-complicate it for no reason.

But this result is not to say that Arsenal aren't legit contenders anymore. They'd just kicked Inter Milan away like two and half days before. Full European travel, high intensity match then straight into a massive derby. United had a whole week to prepare themselves.

The real test for both the teams is February. Arsenal's got Leeds away then Spurs, United host Fulham with that massive fan protest happening prior to kickoff. Different kinds of pressure completely.

Manchester City last game they played without Haaland till the 73'mins when he was introduced and Cherki went off. You see what happened in that game seems to me like City are some how trying to work without Haaland for one reason or the other, it is unusual for him to sit on the bench for that long or even not making the first selection of the squad, like what is Pep planning? This is when the player need to find his rhythm to be in the game and he knows that he's not giving his all for the squad and he need to restart his guns to start getting goals because that's what he's good at, talking about Haaland... What is Pep cooking?

Maguire's words are true and Michael Carrick did what Amorim should have done. On this occasion, I am not saying that Amorim is bad, but the level of complexity makes the game difficult to develop because those who receive his instructions cannot fully execute them during the match.

Carrick practiced what he did during his career at Old Trafford. His role was not like Ronaldo, who managed to run fast, dribble past 5 opposing players, and score goals in every game. Or like Rooney or Scholes. On the field, Carrick was the guardian of the team's integrity. He didn't hold the ball much, but when the team was not on track, Carrick was there as a mediator between anger and ego.

When Koobie returns to the starting lineup, Bruno has more freedom above him, and Casemiro can also play his role as a tough midfielder because Koobie acts as a balancer. He doesn't hold the ball much, but he knows when to pass and when to make a run.
Fresh energy and enthusiasm are evident in all the players on the field. Carrick knows how to instill confidence in his players. When a player deserves to be substituted, he does it. If not, Carrick will maintain his trust until the match ends.

Obviously, people have a way of trying to be diplomatic over things that need to be critically looked at. I earlier made  an analogy about how Arsenal has remained unchallengeably consistent in the first round in the premier league run for almost a decade now.

But one thing remains paramount, Arsenal will always maintain the status quo from the early or mid part of second round leaving the trophy for the owners.

I understand people who think Arsenal can hand over the title to Manchester City once again. Because it isn't a thing that they haven't done before.

This happened 2 times already. They were in the lead but lost their advantage while closing in on the end...  


This loss against Manchester United at Emirates has no excuses. You can't do that if you are leaving an impression like the best team of the season. I won't be surprised if Manchester City win the league again.

Why is everyone emphasizing on Arsenal loss as if there were the only team that has lost to Manchester United. And why is nobody emphasizing Manchester city loss to Manchester United? Arsenal loss shouldn't be given too much importance,this is only their second loss of the season and I don't think there would lose again to other clubs. Arsenal is still at the top of their games  they might likely win both trophies based on their impressive performance.

Aston Villa are a team that has made great progress in the Premier League as we can see that they are now level with City on points, if I'm not mistaken this team won their last match against Newcastle and we must say that they were dominant there. The main topic is that Newcastle will face the mighty PSG in the upcoming match, i.e. the UEFA Champions League match, so judging by their performance, it doesn't seem like they were well prepared for that tough match. Honestly, if they maintain their Premier League performance in the Champions League, I'm sure they'll get nothing but defeat against the French team.

I don't really know why Arsenal is losing their balance and formation when they supposed to be mkre brutal this time around.
This is football and we should not think that we can easily see Arsenal winning this tournament because they have been known to be very weak when it is reaching the end of the tournament.

That's because Manchester United took the right action in using their strategy, we can clearly see how Manchester United was able to prevent Arsenal players from scoring goals easily and being able to keep up with Arsenal's game, this shows that Manchester United is now different from before, Carrick's arrival brings new fortunes for Manchester United, thankfully they will likely get glory if Carrick continues to be successful in the future and does his best for Manchester United.

Red Devils strategy was solid from start, they never allowed Gunners attack to play freely, this make good difference from the start of game even both teams were on level in all aspects, but Manchester United have good workout which outclass host club, and they were clueless in first half.

In second half, they have done some hard work still things were under control of Manchester United which have 4 goals out of 5 in this match, their last goal was surely one of the best with Cunha have clean shot for having most wanted win for his team at Gunners home, now they will have new energy for upcoming games which will make them on good run because it's important time of season where things can take good shape for sure.

Arsenal do always start losing matches when they are suppose to be winning, most people are expecting Arsenal to be winning all their matches now, but we can see that there is a decline in Arsenal performance, Arsenal have not even been able to win any match in their last 3 matches, they played 2 draw and they lost to Manchester United. People were just suprise that Arsenal lost to Manchester United, people never believed they going to lose the match.

If Arsenal wants to win the premier league title, they have to be consistent from the beginning of the season till when the season will end, they don’t have to be performing well, and at some point their performance will drop. Most people don’t believe Arsenal will be able to win the premier league again.

If Arsenal fail to win the title this season, then there can be no greater failure for them. While the team has had some problems in other seasons, this season they have a balanced team with a lot of depth. Yet they have failed to maintain consistency and they are not able to dominate as expected. They have repeatedly given Manchester City chances, if history repeats itself, Arsenal may lose support.

Arsenal did a little better against Manchester United, but it was not enough to win. On the other hand, Manchester United deserved to win, their performance impressed me. It was a shameful defeat for Arsenal at home.

Just one match lost is having no impact on their chances of title, in this season even they are having not good time in Premier league but they still have enough energy and sources to fight back with their performance and quality, they are leading the league table from start of this season.

Everton are struggling to get a goal with Leeds leading in this encounter, it could change their hope of settling at number 7th on the log but losing this game would affect their mentality because they have a chance to move above teams who have been doing pretty well in the league for long now, it seems like a wasted opportunity honestly. At first I expect Everton to dominate this game till the end of the half time but things have changed for Leeds UTD to have that calmness of controlling the game, that's a sign that they want to be heard and also stay in the EPL till next season. I hope Moyes would talk some sense into the midfielders and as well as the defenders because they are terrible in this encounter.

Yeah, things just got tighter in the race to finish at the top of the table at the end of the season. With the gap between the 1st and 2nd spot now closer, Arsenal is under greater pressure to make sure they go on to finish the season at the top spot. With the number of games left till the end of the season, anything could happen and we could very well see Arsenal lose the top spot and again, fail to win the title this season. It would be so sad and frustrating if that should happen.
I did expect a good fight from Man united and I certainly didn't expect that number of goals from the game. While I do want Arsenal to win the league, I was happy with the outcome of the home game against Man united.

Underrated against Manchester City and  Arsenal but they happen to win the game, too many people never saw this win approaching. The win was important, now they want to remain stable in the top four but the real question  how consistent can they play against smaller clubs.

Arteta should now focus on the next game after double disappointment against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, he will sit up most likely against Leeds United.  Mote 15 games to play. They can still win the league to me, they deserve it

Aston villa have been very impressive since they got off that poor start of the season, they are currently amongst the favorites to win the premier league this season because for sure they are in the title race. Aston Villa beating Newcastle at home was not something we all expected, at least a draw for Newcastle at home would have been very much better. Villa played well and d dominate most part of the game, they created chances too and they probably should have scored more in the game.

Now for sure it a big game coming for Newcastle as they would played their last champions league game against the current holders of the tournament, they would need to win if they really want to avoid the play offs which I feel will be a very difficult task for them. I would say considering Newcastle foam this season they would surely be knocked out of the tournament sooner of later.

3 weeks with results that are not too optimal because only 2 points they get is a little disturbing although it is still fortunate that Manchester City also did the same thing so that their point difference is still there today but indeed Arsenal must try to get back up from their current declining performance because if this is allowed it could be the same fate as the previous 3 seasons will come back again and they will return as runner up specialists this season.

Next week Leeds who they will face, should not be a threat and 3 points they must get in this match especially for the last Champions League match does not make any advantage for them considering they are already very comfortable at the top of the standings so this moment can be used for Arsenal so that they can rest some of their core players against Kairat and focus more on continuing the EPL.
But when unexpected results happen then I think they could have made the foundation of mentality decline and the worst possibility could happen.

The coach should be able to shake off this disappointment, absorb the pressure from supporters and others, so he can make better decision for the next game which is very important. The entertainment in the premier league has increased with clubs like Aston Villa, and Manchester City who will try to make a run for it and go unbeaten in their remaining games. Squad depth may matter because injuries are prone to set in and distort plans for managers, and in terms of squad depth, Arsenal and Manchester City dominate that department.

The issue with this tittle race especially with a competitor like Pep, you don't get the assured expectancy, my biggest worry for Arsenal is that Pep starts going on a streak, it's normal for a team to lose, and it may seem like everyone is crucifying Arsenal for a normal outcome but they are more afraid of Pep actually getting it right because it's going to be the end for Arsenal this season, Man City just needs Arsenal to lose and draw for them to become more favorable to win it, we don’t know if Pep's form would change but it's worth it for Arsenal to be careful because they still have Man City to play and if City gets on form, Arsenal can't beat them.

Things are getting heated in the Premier League again... Arsenal started to lose points consecutively which is hindering them from keeping a safe gap with Manchester City in the title rivalry.

I know it's still 4 points which is nice. But there is really something going wrong with Arsenal lately. Arteta had better find the source of the problem to fix it quickly. They normally have what it takes to win the title this season.
