Price volatility to me does not exist in the book of a real investor. This is because it is only panic that can make a person to be conscious of price volatility which already signifies that such bitcoin wallet can be emptied any moment when you exhaust your maximum bearable market fluctuations.

Trading involves keeping wake, studying the bitcoin cycle, monitoring and swift withdrawal whenever the market looks unfavorable.

Your definition is quite okay but it is very weird that, the dude don't understand or know the difference between an investor and a trader. In as much as there is difference  between... there is also similarities between them but that is not necessary. Some may not believe on this and think its better to spread their investment since they believe that don't put all your egg on one basket only. But we can really say its totally different on Bitcoin since we can maximize more our gains if we focus our investment with this coin.

Shitcoins is so risky that's why I really don't believe that this is good to acquire, since everything is fast with those shitcoins and don't have much time monitoring those risky tokens out there. Your explanation about Bitcoin investment seems to be inaccurate because there's no short term holding or  short term investment in bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin require one to accumulate and hold for longer period of time for it to yield good profit over time.  Then in regards to purchasing different cryptocurrencies can also be tagged as gambling because shitcoins and Altcoins lacks growth fundamentals, its important to focus and channel your funds on bitcoin which has shown resilience and  profitability over the years, can be more vital move compared to investing in cryptocurrencies that might lack solid growth fundamentals.

There is something people does not understand for investment and the trading someone who is a trader of cryptocurrency that person is not an investor but someone who purchase different kinds of cryptocurrency and hold for long time or a short time that person can be classified as an investor not someone who is a trader, but people in their own way of understanding things they do say that a trader is an investor I think it is a misconception from my way of understanding what is threading and what is investment, who purchase a Bitcoin and the sell within a short time that person will be probably called an investor and is equal as someone who purchase a bitcoin and the hold for long time.

Your explanation about Bitcoin investment seems to be inaccurate because there's no short term holding or  short term investment in bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin require one to accumulate and hold for longer period of time for it to yield good profit over time.  Then in regards to purchasing different cryptocurrencies can also be tagged as gambling because shitcoins and Altcoins lacks growth fundamentals, its important to focus and channel your funds on bitcoin which has shown resilience and  profitability over the years, can be more vital move compared to investing in cryptocurrencies that might lack solid growth fundamentals.

So that's why there are short and long term in the post regarding investing / trading with them.

Is this your understanding about trading and investor?, if so that means you also don't understand the clarification you were trying to make because you did not explain it the way it should be and I would have agreed to it if I did not understand what those things means but since I can differentiate the both, your definition about the trader and investor needs to be adjusted or amended because an investor is not a short term holder or even someone who acquired a lot of other cryptocurrency aside from Bitcoin because the moment you came up with a short term investment you already put yourself on the trading side, investor has only a unique word and that's long term.

Depends on the coin we are talking about.
Not all coins have cycles and need as much time as others to see the profits made, so would it be considered trading or investing still?
With some alts, there is only a year or two when you need to rip off your PNL, with newer ones - it's more like a roller coaster of possibilities.
If we are talking about BTC - then of course, long-term, for me, would be considered going from cycle to cycle.
