Buying at whatever price is not an ignorance or greedy act since you are just adding volume on your portfolio. You are not thinking about trading it so buying at the dip should not be your main concern here. If that situation come accumulate and if there's a pump still accumulate since you are investing on Bitcoin and not trading for short term. Waiting will make people scared about situation either the market pump and dump since for sure  with that thinking they might think about they already late because market is pumping or either they might also think the market would dump more if they have that mentality. So buy Bitcoin now since this is ideal thing to do and provably you will get inspired more to accumulate if you already starting up then see some good progress on your portfolio.

Delaying buying Bitcoin that has been proven good for several cycles must also have a clearer reason for it, because if someone already has the ability or money that he can use to buy Bitcoin at this time, it is better not to delay the purchase even though he may still be able to use other time in the days to come in the same way.

In business, most delays attract what is called demurrage which is like a penalty paid for such delays and paid by the party that caused the delay. In Bitcoin investment, delay can be liken to a situation where an investor have the money to buy Bitcoin but might still be delaying to do that thereby missing the opportunity to buy at lower prices or buying at all because something might happen and make him spend the money on things he never would have bothered to buy when there is no such funds in his hands. This is the price he paid for delays and it also confirm that for every delay in a thing, there is always a cost.

Delay when you have the funds to get started will do you more harm financially than good. If you are a new investor and you want to delay before investing, you will lose the chance of having a good size of bitcoin overtime. Imagine when you are building a house, and you have the resources available to start the building, and you choose to wait for no reason, you might miss the chance of building it, because some unforeseen challenges will come and take some part of the money from you which might discourage you from building it.

Every time is the right time to buy bitcoin when you are opportune so that you don't waste time but start investing and build your bitcoin stash overtime. If you delay, you are limiting your chance of transforming your financial situation to a higher level in future with your bitcoin investment.

You could have bought at $90k, and if Bitcoin had dropped to $80k, you could have bought then as well. But perhaps you couldn’t buy at either of these prices. There’s no guarantee that you will ever be able to buy below $100k in the future. The best approach to enter the market at any price level is through weekly or monthly DCA. I do agree, not sure why people just waited for the dip before they buy, when they can just go and used a strategy that has been proven to work even for a average joe investors like the rest of us or big whales such as El Salvador and Michael Saylor - do DCA. I have nothing against those kind of people who waits and waits and then suddenly the price goes up, ouch, regrets and more regrets until such time that maybe you become a no coiner. Not just because you don't like Bitcoin, but your mindset is totally wrong and you're not able to invest on it early. And with that, don't wait, you can't bring back those precious time, just remember that right now in the world of finances, "the risks is not owning Bitcoin". There is sense in your post but viewing it from another perspective, it sound like FOMO which is a bad trait every Bitcoin investor should jettison to enjoy emotionless and effortless investing that is linked to peace of mind (our ultimate goal). From the market dynamics, we know that correction happens which means price will not continue in one direction forever rather it will retrace sometimes thereby giving people the opportunity to collect Bitcoin at lower prices. Nevertheless, this is not that important for a long term investor because whatever your entry point is, as long as you are holding for long, you are fine. The differential in the quantity of Bitcoin collected at different points within the same period of time is always compensated for through long term HODL. Let me use a scenario to explain, if I have $10k to put into Bitcoin within a month, I might decided to buy all at once when Bitcoin is $95k for instance or buy little by little at different prices within the range of $90k-$98k. But in reality, the average price for the second option might be $94k, which is just $1k difference from the first case; assuming after a long time the price shoots to $120k, this difference of $1k buying price will be insignificant. Surely i agree with you to an extent. although long term investors should not bother about the market and what it looks like because they have a long term goal. but not every missed opportunity is difficult to recover. surely there are times investors slacks in term of accumulating more bitcoin stash when bitcoin is low and this reduce the level or amount of bitcoin he may have held. but then this depends on how long, if this missed opportunity is just like not have been able to buy bitcoin maybe when it was around $90k and it hit $100k then there is still high chance that it may fall back to $90k where such opportunity can be utilized again, but will be problematic when an investor slacks in his strategy perhaps being wimpy not to have  been accumulative since bitcoin was around $50k and hoping and or waiting for it to fall for him to buy more, then probably bitcoin hit $108k of course it will be too expensive for him and this shows that he has missed the opportunity to buy it when it was way cheaper due to procrastination. and of course such people can not be classified as a good investor rather a no coiner.

I definitely agree with you because you don't need to wait for a dip period to invest into Bitcoin because deley could be dangerous the best time you need to invest in Bitcoin is now so when it gets to the dip period you can actually get your return on investment

ATHes are there for Bitcoin to break each cycle.
Some are not so willing to believe and learn about BTC, that's the only reason they wouldn't invest in it no matter the price.
That's their opportunity that would never cease to stay with them.

I totally understand your point though sometimes it is not just about knowing something that will make one to be aware of the benefits of that particular thing because I have seen a lot of people who understands or let me use the word know,  they know Bitcoin but they don't still understand the benefits of holding for long term because they are just in interested in short term profit. However, the time one start holding Bitcoin doesn't really matter what matter is, how consistent, discipline, patient etc they are with their holding and the ability to manage their investment.

I don't always blame those who did not invest in Bitcoin, some are not inclined to internet investment, while others who can risk it might not have the needed trust in it, and you can't blame them for that, it takes time.

Many have also been scammed in the name of Bitcoin, with Ponzi, direct fraud and even by those who introduced it to them, and their mentors. Not everybody is lucky to follow the right channel and I tell you today that my adoption of Bitcoin was late because of my scepticism then and I would even have been scammed by all those useless centralised wallets like freewallet.org.

Thanks to Bitcointalk. So we should continue to encourage those who are in this category, guide them and furnish them with the needed resources to read. With time, and also with how Bitcoin has proven itself to be a worthy investment, they will be convinced and invest eventually.

This is a typical example of ignorance, I remember when i first heard of Bitcoin investment, it was the same year MMM dupe people of their hard earned money, and I was like, they have come again in another form😂😂😂 but gone are those days.
Knowledge is actually power, because ignorance make me miss the opportunity of coming into Bitcoin investment early.

Maybe because that's what they know about investing on Bitcoin people commonly think that buying at the dip then sell is is the most basic thing they need to do. But they didn't realize that they are not doing good since it will just delay their accumulation and instead of they already have decent volume here they are still waiting for dip and still speculating.

If they didn't erase the thoughts that buying at the dip provably that they cannot start on their investment since fear is so high when market is dumping. But if they are already starting and didn't care about the price provably that their accumulation will continue and they provably not gonna bother to pay attention with FUD's and FOMO's.
